I faced the Diababa while Sheik sat criss cross on the forest floor. She had her eyes closed as she placed her hands flat on the ground. It was as if she was feeling the energy within the earth.

The Diababa was shuffling about whipping its vines at me ferociously. I rolled out of the way to evade the attack. I needed to get close but I was not sure how I could without getting whipped by those vines. I was basically dancing with this beast but not causing any damage. I needed to keep it grounded. I needed to keep it distracted while Sheik did her magic.

The Diababa whipped its vines at me once more. Suddenly I realized it was whipping its vines at me through a pattern. It would pause between strikes leaving itself exposed. I waited patiently for an opening. The Diababa whipped it's vines at me, I then side stepped to avoid the attack. The vines then hit the ground. I swung my sword at the vines separating them completely from the beast. It cried out in pain before trying to burrow itself underground.

"Um Sheik any way you could use some of your magic now?!" I shouted.

I attempted to prevent the monster from going underground by pinning its leaves above ground with my sword.

I watched as Sheik began to speak in a Hylian, an ancient and rarely used language. She then outstretched her hands towards the Diababa, and a golden light shot from her hands. The Diababa screamed in pain until it was nothing but ash.

I was in awe. Sheik had managed to kill the Diababa.

"Well done." I laughed as I turned to her.

She smiled weakly before falling over.

"Sheik?!" I shouted as I ran to her side.

I quickly scooped her up in my arms.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

She nodded her head yes slowly but said nothing. She was obviously weak, the magic must have had weakened her.

"You did good Sheik, now let's go home." I stated as I began my way back to Ordon.
