Zelda's P.O.V

I marched up the mountain side with a new found sense of determination. Link demanded to known the truth, and I didn't feel that he was ready to know the truth quite yet. The path to my destiny stood before me, yet Link had yet to discover his. It didn't seem quite fair of me. I felt guilty yet I knew that it was for the best. I was protecting him. I hiked up the mountain in great time for all things considered. The air was thick and hot. I knew that I was nearing the opening of the volcano.

I didn't know where I was going exactly. I was just following my instincts. I listened for a voice and kept my eyes open for some sort of sign to guide me there to the spring. I saw nothing and I heard nothing.

I began to become very frustrated.

"I don't have time for this!" I groaned.

I stood there for a moment to refocus.

"Think Zelda think." I told myself.

There were no signs of direction or familiar symbols anywhere that could help me.

I sat on the ground in annoyance. I was frustrated and felt rushed to find the spring. I needed to unlock this power within me and fast before the darkness returned. I need to be ready.

As I sat there in thought I watched the grass sway in the wind. It gracefully danced until it parted in a certain direction to reveal a flower.

"A Silent Princess Flower." I said to myself.

I crawled over to the flower and observed it very closely.

I hadn't seen a Silent Princess Flower since I was a child. This flower is very rare, those who come across it are known to find good fortune. My mother had attempted to grow them in the Castle gardens but they never could take root.

When I sat back to look at it I saw more of them. I got up and walked to the next one. I followed each one until I came across an arch way.

There was markings carved into the frame but it was too difficult to make out.

"Zelda." A voice whispered.

I smiled in response. The spring was nearby and I was being called to.

I followed the path of flowers until I came across a spring. It was exactly the same as the spring in Ordon. The only difference was that it was a hot spring. The heat from the volcano is what most likely caused the water to heat up.

I walked towards the water and looked upon the statue of the Goddess. In her arms she held a singular triangle piece, the Triforce.

I waded in the water and cleared my mind and began to pray.

"I am ready to receive your blessing." I whispered.

"I am not so sure you are." A voice answered.

I opened my eyes to see a heavenly figure floating beside me. It was one of the three goddesses.

I bowed in response to her presence.

"Zelda my child, look at me." She instructed.

I did so and waited for her to speak.

"I am Din the Goddess of Power. Listen to my words. You must set Link on the path to fulfill his own destiny. Only together will you be able to defeat the darkness." She explained.

"He is not ready!" I cried.

"Neither are you it seems! Perhaps you do not deserve my blessing?" She inquired.
