JiEun's POV

Serim and I stayed at the library after classes. The librarian went home because her daughter became sick so Serim have to help the assistant librarian. And to make the long story short, Serim is an SA.

"Ugh, why would they borrow books this heavy?" I heard Serim rant. "Shut up, Serim. You chose to be a Student Assistant." I said and scrolled through the yoonmin au I'm reading.

"Can you just help me out for a minute? And you're tall, I can't place back this book." Serim said. I looked at her. "Come on. You're taller than me! Why would you ask help from a small bitch like me? There are a lot of chairs around you, why don't you get one?"

"I don't wanna—"

"Take those heels off if you want to return the goddamn book." I said. "Fine. But don't swear. That's my job." Serim said and took off her heels before stepping on the chair and returning the book.

I looked at my wrist watch. It's already 4:29. "Where's the AL, by the way?" I asked. "That bitch ditched me. When she said she's going to check on something, she already went home." I heard her swear repeatedly.

"Stop with your habit and just finish doing your job. I'm already hungry." I rested my head on the table and a smile escaped my lips. I remembered Jaemin's notebook earlier. What does those two words mean?

"Come on, let's go." I looked up and saw Serim wearing her bag. I stood up and carried my bag and we walked towards the exit. While walking in the hallway, the rain started to pour. "Oh, come on.." I whispered.

We reached the exit but we didn't leave the building yet. The rain became more stronger, leaving no hopes of us going home. "What are we going to do?" Serim asked.

"Serim noonah? JiEun?" We looked back and saw Chenle. "You guys didn't go home yet?" He asked again. "Chenle, why aren't you home, too?" Serim asked.

"We have a club meeting, noonah. Wait.." He took a pink umbrella from his bag and gave it to me. "Use that. You can just share the umbrella."

"How about you?" I asked Chenle. "Oh, I have an extra umbrella. That's the only umbrella I can offer you guys right now." Chenle rubbed his nape. I patted him on the arm. "It's okay. Thank you."

"And go home, too. Don't get sick." Serim said. Chenle nodded. "I should go now. See you tomorrow!" He smiled at us and took his umbrella from his bag before leaving the building.

"Hey," I called Serim. She looked at me. "Are you also ditching on Haechan?" I smirked. Her face became red and replied with a big "NO!".

I laughed. "God, calm down." I said. "Chenle is just my favorite dongsaeng, okay? He's dear to me. He's like my little brother. That's why I care for him. Haechan.. he's a different topic, alright?" She said.

"That's what you said." I chuckled and opened the umbrella. I started to walk and Serim followed me. The rain became calm, but it's still raining.

When we reached our apartment, I put Chenle's umbrella near the shoe rack when I noticed a sticker. I looked closely at it and it was a sun and a flower. A sun and a flower. That's how I used to call Jaemin.

Wait.. but isn't this Jaemin's old umbrella? I opened the umbrella once again and I saw a ruined paper crane stuck between the wires. How come Chenle has Jaemin's umbrella? Maybe Jaemin gave it to him.

I closed the umbrella and went inside. When I reached my room, my phone buzzed. I threw my bag into the shelf it stays and opened my phone. I sat on my bed and opened the message. It's from...

Haechan.

Oh, you know what I'm thinking about.

Hey! It's Haechan. Save my number. ;) we're friends now, okay? I wont take no as an answer :P

But if we're friends, does that mean I'm going to be friends with Jaemin, too? I shook my head. I have to keep a small distance between me and the boys. I still have to collect my ruined self.

And I closed my phone. Wow, I immediately made friends with Haechan. Through text. Oh my god, I'm going to make Serim jealous.

I went down and called her. "Serim!" I sat on a chair that's in the dining table. "What?" She asked. "I got Haechan's number." She faced me with wide eyes and a red face, but I faced her with my widest smile.

"YOU WHAT?!?!"
