JiEun's POV

"How did you get his number?" Serim randomly asked while we're eating. I stopped eating the ramen. "I didn't get his number. He actually texted me first." I said.

"Ugh, I'm seriously going to punch you both if Haechan likes you." She glared at me. "Nah. He only said he wanted to make friends with me." She stopped eating and stared at her ramen for good 6 seconds before nodding.

While she was eating, I took my phone from my room and I texted Haechan while on the dining table.

Hey, toothless. Howd you get my number?

"Toothless?" Serim asked from beside me. She moved her chair all the way beside me. Oh my god, she really likes Haechan. "Why is that your nickname to him?"

"Because he's childish." I said and my phone buzzed so I immediately checked on it.

"He's gay?!" Serim's voice was trembling. "No, he's not. We're friends. I'm just teasing him." I said and laughed. She takes this way too seriously.

"Hey, Serim!" I let her look at the last piece of our convo and she screamed again. "Ugh! I hate him so much that I like him." I rolled my eyes because I don't get her.

I finished my ramen and placed the empty bowl in the sink. "As always, you do the dishes, and think about it." She looked at me and I winked at her. She rolled her eyes boredly and stood up.

"Your wink reminds me of Nana." She whispered. I slowly walked to the stairs. Nana. I smiled. That was Jaemin's favorite nickname for him.

I went to my room and stared at the sky from my window. I saw the stars twinkling on the night sky. I almost didn't notice the shooting star that landed.

I immediately wished, even though it wouldn't be true. But I hope it will.

"I wish.. that everything's going to return to normal. I wish Jaemin and I would be okay, even though he'll just accept me as a friend. I wish I could face him so I could confess and explain my side. I wish.. it was still Jaemin and I.."

I sighed heavily. "Don't worry. I wasn't in a rush." I whispered while looking in the sky. I covered myself in my blanket and started to sleep.

The next day, our section was busy for the camping tomorrow. We were busy planning by groups, especially our adviser and the class officers.

"Ma'am, why don't we just make groups with 9 members? Our camping would be in a forest so 9 members in a group is needed." Our class president, Hyojin, explained.

Our adviser nodded. "Okay. Since everything's settled, let us start with our groupings. Class, go back to your seats!" My classmates ran to their desks.

"Since our camping would be tomorrow, we're going to have groupings. There would be four groups with 9 members each." Our adviser smiled in an evilish way.

"The transferees, Jaemin, Haechan, Chenle, Renjun, Mark, Jeno and Jisung would be in one group, making them seven." The seven boys high-fived. "The two last slots would be given to.." Our adviser looked at each one of us.

She was going to speak but Haechan raised his hand and pointed Serim and I's table. "Serim and JiEun!" He said. I looked at Haechan and glared at him. "Hmm, okay." Then our adviser proceeded on making the three other groups.

My girl classmates glared at me and I just sighed and lowered me head.

You're dead to me, Toothless.
