MY ANGEL

•Third Person POV•

Aurora stared at the door of the café where Kaden had left. He had left her stunned at his determination to get to know her. He was determined that this 'untouchable' girl was anything but.

She finished off the remainder of her Mocha before leaving the café and heading for her first lecture. Thoughts were running wild in her head and for the first time none were of her parents but of Kaden himself.

Whenever anyone had approached her, she was easily able to push them far away from her. Far enough where they wouldn't even try to converse with her again. It had worked every time until now. Kaden seemed completely oblivious and unaffected by her attempts to push him away.

She still couldn't believe that he was able to talk to her so freely even without her adding any input at all into the conversation. She didn't understand how he could do that. Just one look at her and Kaden was able to understand what she was silently saying. All it took was one look at her for him to know she isn't at all happy. That she is guarded. That she is untouchable.

For now.

However, what Aurora failed to realise was that Kaden was in fact aware of her attempts to shut him out, but instead he pushed them aside because he knew she wasn't doing it to spite him or because she didn't like him, but because she was hurt once and now was protecting herself.

He didn't judge her because she had no friends or never smiled and barely spoke. He was inspired by her ability to protect herself. He was intrigued by her in general. Kaden knew she was strong, but she still needed someone. Everybody needs somebody, not matter how strong they appear to be. She needed a support base, something that he could tell she didn't have. He was willing to be there for her whenever she needed it. Whenever she needed somebody.

Aurora, as she began to near the room of her first lecture, began to feel anxious. She didn't know what to expect from Kaden. He had surprised her in everything he had done so far, so she couldn't help but think of what he would do next.

She entered her lecture through the wide doors and made her way to the seats in the far left corner of the room where she was away from everyone else. She was well aware of the many pairs of eyes on her, watching her perfect figure retreat to her usual seat. Watching as her hips naturally swayed with each step she took.

She was undoubtedly, breathtakingly beautiful.

As she made it to her seat, she began to take out her lecture pad and writing utensils as she did everyday. Aurora was so caught up in her thoughts of what today's events would hold that she failed to notice Kaden seat himself next to her. After she closed her bag and straightened herself in her seat, she gasped upon noticing Kaden watching her intently with an amused glint in his eyes.

"Hey Aura," he greeted, calling her by the nickname he had thought of during the time since he had left her stunned at the café.

She composed herself, replacing her shocked expression with her blank emotionless one. Aurora nodded her head in recognition to his presence. She was becoming impatient as she waited for the professor to arrive. Kaden didn't take his eyes of her since his arrival next to her.

Kaden had decided against trying to talk to her just yet, instead choosing to wait until after the lecture so she could relax a little more around him first.

As the professor waltzed through the door, Aurora couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief then visibly relaxed, earning a chuckle from Kaden at her reaction. Her visibly relaxing did not go unnoticed by Kaden, in fact he found it quite amusing and dare he say, cute.
