HAWAII

Third Person POV•

Kaden had successfully passed the week by with keeping Aurora constantly busy and distracted. There were moments where her mind would subconsciously revert back to her parents and their absence however Kaden was always there to save her from her thoughts.

He was able to tell just by reading her facial expression, exactly as to when she was thinking about her parents. Kaden had been listening to, as well as sharing stories about each of their childhoods now that Aurora was comfortable with the topic.

Kaden always had everything a child could want as an infant however his parents never were there for him. His parents had hired a full time baby sitter for him since he was two years old and even until now, his caretaker took more interest in his well being than his parents ever did.

Natalia, his caretaker was now in her mid forties. At the time she had received the job to be Kaden's full time nanny, it was purely business for her however overtime, she learnt to love him as he learnt to love her as though she were his mother. She constantly checks up on him and every month or so comes to visit him.

He no longer needs a nanny obviously, however still pays her as he did when she was looking after him because he feels like he can never truly repay her for how much extra time and effort Natalia had put in to providing the best childhood she could for him.

Aurora however was loved and paid attention to by her only living parent and that was everything she could have ever wished for. Her father tried his hardest and loved her with whatever was left of his heart and she was grateful for that.

Kaden, although Aurora's parents are both no longer alive, envied her for her childhood. She had loving parents who literally were willing to die for her whereas he had two money absorbed parents who showed no interest in him whatsoever. Their only interests were in their businesses and the money they had made.

Since he and Aurora had been to see everything New York offered, Kaden had planned to take Aurora on a holiday overseas to a place which she had told him she always wanted to go. In fact it was a combination of two places.

Aurora had spoken to him about how her father was not able to take her on an overseas holiday before in his time with her, however, she didn't mind. Her father took her where he could and that was enough for her.

"Aurora," Kaden said shaking her sleeping body beside him. "Rise and shine, sleepy head," he said.

Aurora let out a groan which was muffled by her pillow. "Really, sleepy head? You're such a child," she laughed. "I'm going back to sleep, I need my beauty sleep," she said then curled into a tight ball and snuggled against the bed.

"No no no! You are beautiful enough as it is so no more sleep. Besides, we have to get packing now, Aura."

"Packing? We aren't going anywhere," she protested without even asking where he planned to take her and instead instantly turned the offer down.

Kaden let out a deep chuckle and said, "Now you see, Angel, that's where you are wrong." Kaden had formed a habit of occasionally calling her Angel simply for one of three reasons. The reasons being that she liked being called that, her father called her that and finally because she suited the name so well. She was Angelic in everything she did.

"No, I really don't think I am, Superstar. Now hush, I need my sleep," and with that, Aurora stuffed a pillow over her head to block out the light from the room and to silence Kaden's protest before falling asleep again.

After Kaden noticed he wasn't getting Aurora to pack and go with him, he decided to take matters into his own hands and with that, he set to work.

He pulled out an extremely large suitcase which was big enough to fit both of their clothes in from the storage cupboard.
