Chapter 3- His New Found Determination

HIS NEW FOUND DETERMINATION

•Third Person POV•

The time will come my Darling, when you will find the one who will make you the happiest. He will be there for you, every step of the way, like your mother and I, to help you through life. We will all be there to ease your pain and mend your broken heart.

Don't fear love, my beautiful Aurora, seek it. One day he will steal your heart but do not fear it. It may be the scariest thing you ever will have to face, but love brings happiness and joy, something you deserve a lot of. Spread your wings and fly, my lovely Aurora.

Aurora continuously read over that part of her father's letter again and again. Her heart warmed at the fact that her parents were with her and found a way to help her with Kaden.

Her father had stayed true to his word. He never truly left her. Her mother and father have both been with her since they each left and after a long time, she didn't feel alone.

Was Kaden what her father was talking about when he said she would find the one? Is Kaden her key to happiness?

Aurora had decided to take the chance and follow her parents advice. She would open up to Kaden in time. She did know she enjoyed spending time with him yesterday and maybe it wouldn't hurt to spend more time with him.

She needed to have fun and be loved. As her father had said, she deserved it. Aurora gave up on trying to get another hour of sleep and instead decided to get ready for today, a new found excitement within her to see Kaden.

After taking a long shower and freshening up, she picked out her clothes for today. She decided on a royal blue sun dress matched with a white belt and her white wedges from yesterday. She brushed her long chestnut coloured hair out before tying it into a half up, half down style. She did her usual make up consisting of a thin coat of lip gloss, eye-liner, mascara and a little blush.

Since she had time to spare this morning, she pulled out some pancake mix for breakfast. Aurora placed her iPhone in the speaker and played some of her favourite songs while she cooked breakfast.

Just as she set the iPhone up, it beeped with a message popping up from Kaden.

From: Kade :)

Can I pick you up now to go to the café?

Aurora was on Kaden's mind since he woke up and he was dying to see her. He knew she liked that café a lot and wanted to treat her to her favourite beverage, a Mocha and one of the delicious deserts that they sell, his shout.

He isn't going to hurt you.

Aurora's mothers words rang in her mind. She was going to give him a chance and that started now.

She pressed reply to his message and typed up a text to him.

Kaden was anxiously waiting to see whether or not she would reply to him and hopefully accepted his offer. After waiting for what seemed like hours but was only a few short minutes, his phone vibrated, signalling a new text.

He hurriedly opened the text, not wasting any time at all.

Hi Kade, I will be going to the café in about an hour but you may come to mine for breakfast if you'd like first.

After reading the text multiple times to make sure his eyes weren't playing tricks on him as he read over her offer. After minutes of staring dumbfounded at his screen, he replied saying that he'd be there in five minutes. He sprinted to his car and rushed over to her place.
