Maryam's POV
It's been five days since our fight, and the last time I saw him. I wanted to call him, but I already made up my mind never to call him. I also wanted to ask Farhaan, but if he really wanted me to know he would have told me. Ummee on the other hand didn't mention anything to do with Ibrahim, maybe she thought he told me.
I finished eating my breakfast when I heard the door bell. "Faiza can you please get the door?"
"okay" she said and went to open the door.
She came back a minute later with Farhaan trailing behind her. "hello mir mir!" he teased. "how many times do I have to tell you to stop calling me Mir Mir?"
He laughed. "the name suits you, can't help."
"by the way, what are you doing here as early as seven?" I asked.
"ouch! Am hurt, now I can't come and see Mir Mir again bah." he said feigning hurt and I laughed. "you are not serious."
"i am dam serious, and besides your husband left me to take care of you for the mean time" he joked.
"Farhaan!!"
"okay okay, jokes apart. Ummee asked me to take you to school." he said.
"okay, lemme get my stuff." I said and went upstairs to get my things.
"am all ready." I told him as I descended down the stairs.
"okay then, lets get going." he said and wade our way to the car.
"you will be sitting at the back right?" he asked.
"and why should I?" I asked him. "it's not as if you are my driver or something." I added. It will be awkward if I sit at the back and let him drive.
"but..."
"am sitting at the front, and that's final." I told him and hopped into the car. He sighed and also entered. I take Farhaan as the elder brother I never had. He is the most amazing guy I have ever meet. He has this personality that everyone adores, even thou he might be a pain in the arse. But I guess that's how brothers are.
"earth to Mir Mir." he snapped me out of my thought.
"I will pretend as of I didn't hear." I said turning my face to the window.
"oh poor Mir Mir, I know you like this name so much." he sang.
"seriously Farhaan? Remind me not to follow you to school again." I stated.
"really? Then you will have to walk to school. From Gwarimpa to Baze, such a long journey huh?" he laughed, but i ignored him.
"so..." he broke the silence. "tell me about your past life." he said.
"what is it that you want to know that you didn't know already?" I asked.
"your love life? Teen life?" he asked.
"trust me, you wouldn't want to know." I said.
"is it that boring?"
"uhm I guess." I replied.
"jamal??" he asked. And for some moment I couldn't breath.
"h-how d-do you know hi-him?" I said I finally found my voice. He didn't answer me, instead he continue driving.
"answer me please." I pleaded
"do you remember the day I was helping you with you assignment?" he asked and I nod. "well, I came across this book of yours that you wrote jamal in black heart." he explained.
