A/N - this isn't my poem but it was absolutely beautiful so I thought I'd publish it.It belongs to my friend born_a_demigod and she's an awesome writer even if she doesn't know it...The reason I'm publishing this is because she is going to de-publish it soon and I thought it was awesome enough to be read by the whole world so here it is, enjoy!All credit goes to her and yeah, I got her permission (I ain't no plagiarizer guy)
In summer you shone.
The way you smiled at me made flowers bloom.
The warmth you radiated pulled me closer and closer to you
til I found I was unable to stay away from you.
In autumn, I joined your orbit.
I revolved around you,
you became my world.
Without you, I was lost,
stuck spinning in space,
aimlessly and tirelessly,
hopeless and all alone.
In winter you were distant,
and I was cold.
You were pushing me away
and I didn't know why.
You found more people,
and it hurt,but we had times when it felt normal,
we laughed and sung and so I held on.
In spring you told me you were starting afresh,
you said that you were disposing of all the things you didn't need,
all the burdens you found you were carrying
so was it really a surprise you got rid of me?
The seasons changed and with them, so did you.
