Imagine you were just sat at home, watching some TV because it was your day off work.

Suddenly your phone buzzes, signifying you had a text message, so you picked it up and looked at it.

It was from your friend Tom, but it didn't quite make sense.

The text read, 'dude, I really like y/n.'

You were shocked, as he just admitted that he liked you, but you were assuming that he didn't mean to send the message to you.

Another message came through that read, 'like I've come to the realisation,' and another that read, 'and I really like her.'

You smiled to yourself, as you also had a small crush on Tom.

You texted him back and you were honest with him, 'Tom, look at who you are texting.' You wrote.

'Oh shit,' he put back. He had realised that he sent it to the wrong person.

Another text came through shortly after, 'please just forget everything you just read.'

You took this opportunity as your chance to tell him how you felt too.

'Well I can't, because I like you too,' you wrote.

You started to get butterflies in your stomach, worried about what he would say back.

It took a while for him to reply, and you were mentally punching yourself, knowing that you shouldn't have put that.

But then your phone buzzed back with another text from him.

'Y/N would you like to go out on a date with me?'

You smiled, and quickly texted back, 'I would love to.'
