Imagine you were a high school student, in New York city.

You were averagely clever, but not a huge achiever.

However, biology was not your biggest fan, and you were constantly achieving E grades recently, and your teacher was saying that if you didn't achieve at least a B average soon you would be in major trouble.

Peter Parker was the brainiest kid in class.

Very quiet, but also very sweet, and you had a little crush on him, but he was also extremely good at biology, so you asked him for help last week on studying for the upcoming test.

Your teacher had asked to see you about your test, and you thought you were completely screwed, but you weren't.

You got a C, which was a major improvement on everything previously.

You went to go and find Peter because you wanted to thank him for helping you.

Walking into the cafeteria, you saw him sitting by himself, so you took this as your opportunity to go over and talk to him.

You walked up with a smile on your face, and he soon noticed you and looked up.

"Mind if I sit?" You asked.

He smiled at you and gestured to the seat in front of him, "not at all."

As you sat down, you placed the test paper in front of him, and he immediately looked down at it to study what you had put before him.

He quickly realised what it was and saw you grade, then looked back up at you with an even bigger smile, "congratulations, your work payed off."

You replied, "yeah well, it wouldn't have been for your help, so thank you."

He brushed it off as if it was nothing.

Immediately you changed your tone, gaining more confidence and being a little more flirty.

"The work isn't over yet, so don't think your job is done. I only got a C and I still need a B," you told him and he laughed.

He shook his head, "don't worry, I was hoping to spend more time with you anyway."

You were slightly surprised at his comment, but pleased.

Although Peter soon realised what he said and started panicking and apologising.

"Don't worry about it, I want to spend more time with you too," you stated.

His cheeks quickly flushed a deep shade of red, and he started to reply. "Would you- um- I mean, would you consider- I mean only if you want-"

You quickly interrupted him, "Yes Peter, I'll go on a date with you."

You started to gather your things and you stood up.

Before you walked away, you turned to him and said, "You've got my number, and I'm free Friday night. You choose what we do but I expect to see you then."

He grinned a goofy smile, and replied with more confidence, "You won't be disappointed."

You nodded and smiled back, and started to get very, very excited for Friday night.
