I waited by your locker, staring at the clock. You would be here in two minutes, along with everyone else in your class. I might have to reveal myself the hard way, showing you my "talents". I shoved my hands in my pockets, getting impatient. Finally, the bell rang and you were one of the first ones out. You caught my eyes and I smiled, not afraid of showing my immense joy for your return. "(Y/N)," I greeted, stepping away for you to put your stuff away. "Edward," you said, avoiding my gaze. You turned around to leave, but I grabbed your arm and stopped you. You gasped at my ice cold touch, freezing you in place. "Edward, you're so... C-cold!" you said, your eyes widening like usual. I nodded my head, pushing you to where your back was against your locker. I looked into your nervous eyes. "(Y/N), this is what I was talking about. At lunch." I said, my voice low and rather deep. "The thing you don't tell anyone..." you whispered. "Can you let go? I think I'm getting frostbite." you said, interrupting my own thoughts. "Yes, sorry." I stepped back. You stared at me for a moment, your cheeks flushing pink. "What's your deal?" you whispered again, tilting your head quite cutely. "I thought you were with Bella. You seem to be showing quite a lot of interest in me." you were getting nervous, but you covered it with frustration. "I am, but... we're going through rough times..." my excuse didn't work; she saw right through me. "I can see something else. Your eyes... they're too sincere when we talk to each other." I chuckled, you were a lot smarter than what I took you for. So I began to tell you what everything was about.
