"Carlisle!" Edward shouted. Suddenly, with a whoosh of cold wind, a very handsome man stood in front of you both. "Edward," he greeted. "Who is this fine young lady?" Carlisle said, looking in your direction. "This is (Y/N)," Edward said, hints of guilt in his voice. Carlisle gave him a dissaproving look. Edward avoided his gaze, still holding my wrist. "You told her." Carlisle said.

Suddenly, a beautiful woman walked into the room. Her brown hair and pale skin was like that of a goddess. "Esme," Edward greeted, dipping his head. You raised your hands, "What's going on?" you said.

Carlisle looked at you, his gaze calm and welcoming. "My son, Edward, wasn't exactly supposed to tell you about who we are so soon." he said.  Edward growled, getting frustrated. "But Bella knows," you stated. "Was he not supposed to tell her either?" Carlisle tilted his head, thinking of an answer. "She was different." Edward said, interrupting Carlisle's pondering.

You heard light footsteps behind you. "Hey!" A young woman's voice rang out. Her voice was high pitched, but still mature. "Alice," Edward greeted. "This is-"
"(Y/N)! Hi!" Alice chirped. Edward and Alice both exchanged glares while Alice reached out to hug you.

Knowing how ice cold they are, you shyed away. "No thanks, sorry." you said. Alice looked slightly hurt, but she put on a bright smile and said, "Ok, no problem!" You heard Edward growl under his breath, "Esme, get her." Esme nodded her head and distracted Alice, pulling her away from you. You gave a quick sigh of relief just when Edward said, "It's getting late. We should probably get (Y/N) home." You stared at him. He ran you here, how was he going to get you home?

"My car is parked in the garage." Edward said, as if he was reading your thoughts. He tilted his head at you. "I CAN read your thoughts." You gasped, shocked. "I thought you only drank blood!" you said, putting a hand on your chest. "You guys have, like, superpowers!"
Carlisle crossed his arms. "Well, not exactly. Only some of us have such gifts." he said.

"Take Alice, for example. She can see into the future, as long as whoever controls it stays on the path they were planning. If they suddenly change their mind, the future changes." Your jaw hung open, your eyes were wide. Edward looked at the clock, it reading 6:34 pm. You've already been there for three hours. Edward grabbed your hand this time, dragging you to his silver Volvo. He awkwardly opened the passenger door for you and, as soon as you sat down, he was in the driver's seat. You rolled your eyes, and the whole way back you both were silent.

He walked you up to your door and sighed. "I had a nice time, I guess." he muttered, putting his elbow up on the door. You couldn't stand it. Him being no more than a foot away from you made you want to scream. You wrapped your arms around his torso, engulfing him in a hug. He tensed, then embraced you back.
