Y/n pov: i sat the in my camp watching. There was more of them now a girl in a red dress with a scythe?! Another girl in white with a fencing sword. A red headed greek girl, a blonde boy who didn't look like he really belonged a crazy pink haired girl who wouldn't stop yelling, and i quiet guy with a pink stripe in his hair. I sat there it seemed like they were suppose to recover the chess pieces i guess?
Y/n thoughts: this group has had so much happen in literally 30 seconds a girl falls out of the sky some how survives, a girl comes in riding a big bear looking thing, another girl fall out of the sky and buddy thinks he can save her by jumping and catching her?! Then to top it all off this greek looking girl come running in with a giant scorpion running after her!! WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE WORKD WHERE AM I CRAZY LAND!!!

I watch as the one in red charges towards the giant scorpion with her giant scythe.

Y/n :this cant go very well.

She decided charging was the best option but a giant bird like the one that tried attacking me flies over and shoots its feathers into her cape traping her. The scorpion thing quickly closes the gap going in for the kill i take aim as it goes to stab her and fire my c7 hitting its stinger making it miss its target and damaging the stinger. It screams in pain the other girls are yelling at her to get out of there as the blonde one runs towards her. Then with extreme speed i see the girl in white come in and freeze the creature in place.

Y/n: your lucky little red that I'm a good person and cant watch some one get killed like that. Why does she have such a long cape thats just asking for problems.

I watch as the blonde girl hugs little red and they begin falling back towards a cliff side. The creature breaks free and gives chase and the giant bird begins to circle around and follows them.

Y/n: there they go at least I've got an idea of where they're going maybe ill scout it out later on.

Another giant bird circles around and lands in the clearing. I see it's holding its right wing at an angle from a previous injury. I know that the bird who tried getting me during my descent.

Y/n: time for some mother fucking pay back.

I make sure the group is gone and come out of hiding firing my c7 at the bird hitting its wings to prevent it from flying away. It turns its head towards me and screeches in pain seeing who was cause it this injury. It screams again and starts walking towards me obviously angry. I keep firing counting my rounds in my mag, i should have about ten rounds left. Its closing the distance pretty quickly. I keep walking towards it firing 2 rounds every step. It goes to bite me with its beak right as my mag is empty. I jam my c7 in its mouth using it to hold it open. Y/n: open up MOTHER FUCKER!!! I take one of my frag grenades pull the pin and throw it in its mouth. And kick my c7 sacrificing it to the bird but allowing it to close its mouth once again sealing its faith.
I drop to the ground and wait for the inevitable explosion. The grenade goes off and the birds head is blown to pieces. Y/n and thats why i get to wear the maroon beret!

Ozpin pov: i watch as my candidates make there way killing the deathstalker and nevermore during their retreat back to the cliff. But one of my motion sensors was going off. I switch to the camera that was there and i see the guy in camo from before fighting a never more. His weapons were different they just performed one function but he managed to make them work for everything he need but he destroyed them in the process.

Ozpin: now he doesn't have a weapon he should be much easier to deal with i can see he has some skill. I think he would be a great addition to the academy. Just now how do we bring him in to talk well try peacefully at first but i believe he may not come without a fight, at least we've got his general location now.

The students were arriving back at the cliff with their relic i call them over to me.
Ozpin: now students i know your excited for passing the first part of your initiation but now is not the time to celebrate your next objective it to bring in this guy. I turn my scroll around and show them the video of him fighting the nevermore.
Yang: but he attacked me and Blake and held me hostage.
Ozpin: yes but i believe he was only looming for information if am I not correct?
Yang: yes but.
Ozpin: he also saved you sister from certain death right after wards i believe if he truly meant you harm he could've cause much much more. There for you will capture him by any means possible but please try not to resort to violence. Now back on the platform and prepare for launch.

Y/n pov:
I watched as the bird disintegrated right before my eyes. "Well there goes my dinner i guess what is wrong with this place". I hear screams and bolt back into my camp and place my cam net over top of me and see the group back in the clearing the seemed to be looking for me.

Y/n: i still don't know their intentions my best bet is to stay in place and hopefully get one close enough for capture again. I seems like their splitting up into groups of 4 which is much more manageable. Ive got an idea.

I throw a rock at a nearby tree making a small amount of noise. I watch the bow on the girl twitch and she looked in my direction telling her teammates she heard something over hear. I lay down waiting for them to come past me. I hear them getting closer and draw my combat knife. One of them steps right in between my legs. I jump up and grab her its the blonde one again.

Blonde: again really can we stop meeting like this listen we just want to talk.
Y/n: why are you looking for me what do you want?
Little red: my name is ruby and our head master wanted us to bring you to him so you may talk with him.
Y/n: I'm not going. Whats going to happen is me n blonde here are going to sick back into the forest while you guys go the other way then i will release her and you can continue on your merry way: *i say with a smile*
Blonde: hey the names yang and i didn't agree to this.
Blake: we have been told to capture you buy ANY means necessary.
Y/n: i like this surrounded in a bad position, hmm seems like i'm right where i should be airborne right? I need to get out of here but how?
I look around for anything then they all closed together prepping for an attack. I saw my chance and took it i picked up yang and threw her at her friends causing then to flinch i used this and made my escape deeper into the woods. I hear them yelling trying to catch up to me. I suddenly see a red blur go past me and ruby is in front of me?! I decided that id have to try and take her out. She transformed her scythe in a sniper ?! I kept charging and did a combat roll to keep my speed and rolled under her first shot but her second shot caught my plate and it knocked me on my ass i rolled to the side as i heard her friends catching up to me and jumped at ruby tackling picking her up and plating my knife in her cape leaving her hanging on a tree and taking her weapon. she cried out my baby as i toon it but i wasn't concerned. I look at her and say "and thats why i hate capes" i then run further into the forest and lay down taking cover under a fallen tree waiting for night to fall and them to give up.
