Warriors Meet

Ruby pov:  "I cant believe that guy got away with crescent rose!" I say almost breaking down. Yang: "but he did out play us there he waited for the perfect moment to strike that twice now he's held me hostage. Thats twice i could've died". Blake: "well he did bring up a good point ruby you cap is a bit long and if he'd wanted to have killed us he would've done it already". Wiess: "that guy is nobody i could've easily beaten him if we didn't have to save ruby!" Ruby: "it doesn't matter now I'm weaponless and its getting dark we have to report to Ozpin and tell him what happened we'll resume the search tomorrow.

Timeskip to Ozpins office.

Ozpin pov: 
I was watching this man take on team rwby and managed to use even the worst situation to his advantage. He doesn't try to kill though he's well trained and resourceful. Watching him take on ruby a paused when he got hit by the round and noticed something. He doesn't have an aura. He took the hit but his armour took the damage. Why doesn't he have an aura? I hear the elevator open and see Qrow.  Ozpin: "now what was it that you to tell me in person?" Qrow: "that black fog it wasn't just black fog it was a portal hidden inside the queen tried to send grim to another world but could only keep the portal open for a few seconds. Were lucky that she couldn't hold it or shed be able to have a whole world filled with grim to bring armies against us" Ozpin: "yes nothing on our side went through but something  did come through from the other" i show him the footage of you fighting off team rwby and killing the nevermore. Qrow: "who is this guy whys his gear so weird looking?" Ozpin: "I don't know but i want you to go talk to him i want him to join this academy he's got a lot of potential. He's in the emerald forest somewhere and don't under estimate him" Qrow: "really oz? This will be easy." Ozpin: "And Qrow bring him in in one piece please." Qrow chuckles as he leaves my office "whatever you say oz."

Your pov:
I sat there i the darkness using my night vision monocle to look at this weapon. I guess its a multi function weapon. I always had a thing for weapons they're great. i love hands on time and i always end up naming every rifle i got. I miss Sheila i hated having to sacrifice her like that but she saved my life. And my knife i really wanted that back. I just got that one. I figured out how the weapon transformed looking aat it in it scythe form, than its sniper form and lastly i guess its carrying form. Pretty cool it was light weight yet sturdy. Very deadly scythes are dangerous to even the best of users. I lit a smoke and ogled over the weapon a bit more before hearing a growl.  I look up to see a pack of wolf things approaching me it looked like there was about 5 of them waiting to attack me. I sighed placing my smoke on my ruck and puck up the weapon and ran towards them. Id never used a scythe but i understood the concept of it it was just a swish swish weapon i noticed the other end had a blade and maybe a stab weapon to i guess. I took a swing with it it hitting the first wolf thing and slicing its head off and used the momentum to bring the other end in the stab the other one in the head. I kick off of it head and propel my self back and use the sniper function to fire a few rounds at the e remaining wolves.  i knew i probably wouldn't hit one because i could use my night vision with the sight but i managed to hit two of them killing them. The last howled at me and charged i took out my boot knife and and threw it in its skull killing it as well. I walked up to retrieve my knife. "And thats why i always carry more than 2 knives i chuckled to myself." I actually carry 3 on me and have one on my tacvest and always one in my ruck. I walk back to my camp and sit down on my ruck. I believe this weapon of hers deserves a cleaning. I figured out how to take it apart rather quickly and began cleaning it under the cover of darkness.

TIME SKIP TO after cleaning the weapon

I just started to put it back together when i heard a crow cawing above me and fly into the darkness. I look into the darkness and see a man with a huge sword walk into my camp and stab his sword into the ground in front of me. He then walked back and took a seat on a log across from me. I knew what he wanted. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and placed my knives in the ground and stepped back over to rubys weapon. "Im not putting this there its apart and its not mine if you wish to talk light a fire but leave your weapon here or I'm walking away". He grumbled something and left for a few moments. I went back to assembling Ruby's weapon, i know i stole this from her but i do not intend on keeping it and i want it to make it back to her in perfect condition that was just respect for the weapon. The man came back and with a bundle of wood and began to light the fire i raised my night vision so i wouldn't get blinded. Once the fire was going he sat back down i pulled out a smoke and offered him one. He looked at me weird at first but accepted and i reach over and lit his smoke with my lighter. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a flask took a swig and offered it to me. I accepted and took a drink. Enjoying the taste of the alcohol. I then reached out to shake his hand and said the names f/n l/n. He shook my hand "Qrow Branwell". "So what do you people want from me i just want to find a way home?" Qrow looked at me a said "kid where are you from" I looked at him " Canada I'm a soldier in the Canadian force a jumper to be exact." He looks at me and says " kid did you go through some black fog before you ended up here?" I nodded my head looking at him confused how did he know about the black fog?
Qrow " Well kid it wasn't just fog it was a portal between world and you cam through im sorry theres now way home for you that i know of."
I looked at him feeling uneasy and lit another smoke "I'm going to need some more of that drink you got there." He laughs and hands me the flask. I a long drink and hand it back looking disappointed in how much is left. Qrow  "so will you agree to meet ozpin back at the academy with me tomorrow?" I sigh "fine im running out of food any way but on on condition. Im keeping all the weapons when we go in until i feel like you can have them back." He nervously laughs and agrees. I lean back against a tree and close my eyes thinking of my plans to ensure my own safety.
