John and Alex

Alex's pov
boom
I jumped up from bed breathing hard.
boom
"gasp" I go to the corner of my bed and pull my knees up to my chest, rocking back and fourth. I heard a rustle from across the room, but I'm to scared to move.
boom
I whimpered and pull my legs closer holding my hands to my ears.
johns pov
I woke up when I heard a gasps, still a little tired it takes me a minute to focus.
boom
that wakes me right up. I sat up on my bed and looked over across the room to see Alex in a fetal position. I got up quickly when I heard a whimper and sat on his bed. I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him into my chest.
Alex pov
I felt arms around my waist and being pulled into someone's chest. I grabbed on tightly bringing my head in his chest silently crying.
" Alex it's ok nothing is going to happen, your fine it's just a small storm." I heard John say
"I know but I can't help it"
"it's fine I'll stay with you til it's over ok"
I just nodded my head in his chest. after five minutes I started to nod off, with his fingers going through my hair and saying sweet nothing's into my ear I was finally out.
johns pov
I felt Alex fall back asleep in my arms, but decided to stay in fear of waking him. so I repositioned myself so we were laying down and felt myself drift off as well.
3rd person
knock knock knock
"it's time for medicine wake up" nurse Peggy said
John woke up first yawning and was starting to sit up when he heard a groan. he looked down and saw Alex still on his chest, not awake in the slightest. John still looking at him deciding whether to wake him up or not.
" he looks so peaceful and he rarely sleeps cause of his insomnia."
knock knock knock
"if you don't open the door in 15 seconds I'm coming in" Peggy said
John still looking at Alex just sat there, not really caring if she came in or not, he wants his Alex to rest.
the door opened and Peggy came in holding a tray with pills. " what are you guys doing I told you to come out" she said a little to loudly. Alex hearing her voice groaned a little in his sleep, his eyes slowly opening. before they could though John ran his fingers through his hair and rubbed his back trying to get him back to sleep. A few seconds later Alex was asleep again still on johns chest, while John glared at the nurse. "can you be quiet he woke up early cause of the storm, and you know how hard it is for him to sleep" he growled.
Peggy stood shock for a moment before answering " yes I know he has insomnia but you know you have to take your pills. now wake him up so he can take them your going to be late for breakfast and you know it's mandatory"
johns glare increased by ten and told her to give him a few minutes alone to wake him up.
when Peggy left John looked back down at the peaceful alex sleeping. John took a breath and shook Alex's shoulder softly. " Alex wake up it's time for breakfast" Alex groaned and opened his eyes looking up at John.
"what" he said still dazed while John sat him up though alex was still leaning on his chest.
Alex stood up and stretched changing his clothes. John following his example did the same, Alex opened his mouth to say something but then...
knock knock knock
" are you ready it's 1 minute til breakfast"
Alex sighed and opened the door letting Peggy come in. she gave John his pills and a cup of water first, the she gave Alex his but with a cup of juice. Alex is terrified of liquids cause of the hurricane he was caught in, he almost drowned, he also is afraid of storms. Alex gripped johns hand while he downed the cup of juice with his pills. He gasped and held his throat breathing in deep while John patted his back. After that they went to breakfast and sat at there table, John had pancakes and sausage while Alex had a fruit salad. They ate in silence glancing at each other occasionally til they were done, they hated the lunchroom it was so loud and big and it gave them anxiety.
They left the lunchroom and went to the lounge. They sat on a love seat shoulders touching, John was drawing while Alex was writing. it was their coping skills well one of the nonharmful coping skills, it puts the at peace and drowns out the world. Both were lost in there books pencil moving nonstop, they never notice  Jefferson the hospital bully, who for some reason loves to pic on Alex the most, come in holding 2 bottles of water. He saw the two sitting on the couch and walked over to them smirking. He opened the first bottle and poured it on each of their books soaking them. They each paused their movements taking a second to realize what just happened, before either of them could panic Jefferson took the other bottle and poured it on Alex's head and laughed.
A second later Alex screamed, he fell to the floor and screamed holding is throat hyperventilating. John quick to action went down with him and grabbed a blanket that was on the other chair and tried his best to dry him off, telling him to breath. What felt like hours but was only a few seconds Peggy ran in with other doctors who dragged Alex away from John, while the doctors took Alex away John started fighting back trying to get to Alex.
"I can be without him I can't he needs me and I need him please you can't please please" John thought still fighting til they put him in solitary confinement to cool of. While in the John started pasting back in fourth back in fourth, clapping his hands in rhythm, humming spinning in circles anything to help calm him down. His autism taking over full force he did any repetitive actions be could think of til finally he calmed down. once he calmed down Dr. Washington let him out and led him to the craft room where Alex was writing on a scrap of paper and talking with Lafayette or Laf for short on the floor. watching the two from the couch was mulligan or herc, he is lafs  roommate.
Herc is like a father figure to Laf, since Laf has aspergers which causes him to act like child. That's probably why he gets along with Alex so much cause while Alex may not have aspergers he never had a childhood cause of his abusive dad, so when he came here is inner child came out especially with Laf. But whenever he is with adults that instantly changes, he would act like an adult himself, but around his age he acts like he's 8. when he's with Laf though he acts like he's 6 just like Laf, and it's adorable.
johns pov
I walked over to them and sat behind Alex then pulled him into my lap. He squeaked a little, but when he saw it was me he grinned and hugged me tight.
" John", he said in a childish voice "your back I was so worried but the Laf came over and helped me feel better" I smiled and kissed his forehead before he turned around and kept talking with Laf. While he talked to Laf I ran my fingers through his hair when Herc came and sat next to me. "what happened and where were you, he was freaking out til Laf came to calm him down" Herc said seriously.
Laf hearing his name saw Herc on the ground came and sat on his lap and Herc instinctly wrapped his arms around his waist.
"Jefferson came over and poured water on our notebooks, and then poured water all over Alex's head. He ended up having a panic attack and they took him somewhere, but when they separated us I freaked out. I started fighting back to get to him but the put me in solitary."
Alex hearing this looked backed at me with wide eyes. "you were in solitary, oh John I'm sorry I'm so sorry it's my fault if I didn't panic and and..." he started to cry hurrying his face in my chest.
" Alex  look at me" he lifted his head slowly "it's not your fault I shouldn't have them, but it's ok were together again okay so don't cry please" Alex nodded and wipped his tears smiling.
"so where did they take you" I asked when he pulled himself together.
"they took me to the Medbay and dried me off and put me to sleep, when I woke up the took me here and I saw laf so I hung out with him"
"Herc what time is it" I asked worried
"it's 8:30 only 15 minutes til curfew."
I was gone that long I thought it was only an hour not 12"
While I asked, Laf and Alex went back to whatever they were doing til Peggy said it was time for bed.
We went to our room and Alex took his meds, and got in bed. Not even 10 minutes later I felt Alex get in my bed, I turned over and saw him looked up at me.
"you sleeping with me tonight huh" I said and he just nodded
"I know it's hard but please try to get some sleep" he nodded again and I pulled him closer and kissed his forehead waiting for him to sleep.
1 hour later his eyes closed and his breathing evened out and I did the same.

so I hope you enjoyed this it may seem a little rough or rushed but I'll get better I'm just not used to writing so please continue to read I'll probably update tomorrow if not then Monday
