the black out and escape

this chapter is going to get the plot started I just want the first to introduce the 6 main characters

3rd person
beep beep beep

"everyone lock down lock down get to your rooms now." John heard over the speaker. He ran out the lounge and ran to Lafs room where Alex was. He opened the door and only saw Herc holding Laf close, while Laf cried.
John pov
"where's Alex?" I asked panicked
"He went to the lounge to get you" Herc said
"damit" I turned ready to go to the lounge when the lights went out. I heard Laf squeaked before I ran in the direction of the lounge.
"Alex Alex where are you"
"John is that you" I heard a quiet voice
"yea it's me"
"I'm over here" I ran to where he was at and scooped him in a hug.
"ok let's get back to our ro-" I stoped as I heard footsteps coming around the corner. I grabbed Alex and hid under the couch. I saw 2 feet stand in front of the couch and felt Alex tense and his breathing hard. I grabbed his hand tight rubbing his fingers with mine. The person started to laugh crazily and said in high pitch voice." I know someone's in here." He walked around the couch." I'm telling you now it would be a whole lot better if you come out on your own" We stayed quiet until he sighed.
" fine I'll get you myself" A hand flew and grabbed Alex's foot and pulled him out.
"NOOOOO John John please help" I crawled out from the couch to see the most craziest person in the whole hospital.....

Aaron Burr

He had a knife up to Alex's throat while Alex struggled in his grip looking at me with pleading eyes.
"Let him go Burr" I said with my bravest voice. He just laughed and put the knife closet drawing a little blood. Alex whimpered and closed his eyes tight.
"I think I want to take little Alex here on a trip, your welcome to come but try to interfere and you'll regret it." he walked out with Alex me following of course and brought us to the kitchen. He filled the sink with freezes water and dunked Alex's head in.
"STOP what are you doing" I yelled panic
"I'm cleansing him, he and Lafayette are on my list. nobody can be this innocent in this place and not be out to get me. so I'm cleansing him til he shows his true self." He lifted Alex out and Alex started coughing trying to breath. before he could get enough air he was back under. I could only watch helplessly trying to figure out a plan. Burr lifted Alex out and tied him to a chair, he made the string so tight Alex winced. He grabbed a bucket of water and poured it over him. I know he was freezing cause the kitchens naturally cold. He did it over and over, and each time Alex shivered more and more. I looked around desperately for something or someone for help. Then I saw it a pizza paddle I walked over and grabbed it quickly and knocked it over his head, he fell to the floor out cold. I took and breath and ran over to Alex untying him and holding him close. He shivered in my arms and held on tightly, I picked him up and took him to the infirmary. I told the nurse what happens and they dried him off though he refused to let go of me and told us he had to spend the night. I got in the bed with him as he fell into a restless sleep.
