Chapter 38

   Jughead's inner inner circle made their way into pops, his serpent friends already outside waiting for them leaning on their motorcycles. 

   "Why do northsiders take so long to get ready?" Emma questioned making the group laugh, "I'm not a northsider Emie." Jughead said playfully rolling his eyes.

   "I can't believe that cheryl's not counted into your inner inner circle" Toni scoffed, "awe is ms.topaz salty that her girlfriend's not coming?" Emma teased smirking. "Oh fuck you Emma Marie Quinn." Toni said playfully glaring at the girl.

   "Let's go bitches i'm hungry!!" Emma whined walking inside so did the others. "Hey pops." Betty greeted smiling at pops. "Hey Betty, Hey Jug! I'm so happy you're alive from what happened!" Pops said smiling at the Group

"Thanks pops." Jughead said smiling at Pops.

The group made their way to the Table at the end of the diner, They had to occupy two tables because there was 8 of them. They talked and talked, teasing Toni about how she was salty that Cheryl isn't invited. And some other stuff.

"So Jughead, how are you handling all of this right now?" Veronica said, "Pretty well. Dad wants us to got to Toledo. He says it's more safe there." Jug said rolling his eyes.

"Uh hell no Jug. No way you're going to Toledo." Betty said clearly disagreeing at what Fp wants. "Yeah. Plus, Malachai and the Ghoulies are dead. Including Penny." Emma argued.

"I don't know Guys. Dad said he already told mom." Jug shrugged, "Fuck" Emma muttered under her
breath. "Maybe he'll change his mind. We'll just wait" Emma said putting on a fake smile.

After they finished having a great time at pops, They all decided to go to the Wyrm, except Archie, Veronica, and Betty. Emma on the other hand decided to go back to her trailer and take a nap.

Emma woke up to a ringing sound near her. She looked at what it is and saw it was Fp calling her. "What do you want Fp?"

"You need to come down the Wyrm right now." Fp said, "Wait wh-" before Emma could finish Fp had already ended the call. She groaned standing up, taking a large tee and her serpent Jacket then walking out the door.

She drove to The Wyrm, it was a short trip considering it's just near her. When she got there, she parked her motor, walking inside the bar to see Fp, her parents, Jug, Toni, Sweet pea, fangs, and other serpents huddled together in a large circle.

"What do you want FP?" Emma said walking infront of them. They all looked up looking at the Girl, "Emma..." Fp trailed off glancing over at Valentina.

"Emma, we have something to tell you." Her mom said, taking a deep breath. "You'll need to go to Barcelona with us. You can't come back here. You will need to leave Riverdale and The Serpents." Valentina said, Emma's face dropping to the ground.

"wait, no no no. That can't be true." Emma said shaking her head, "It is Emma. You will need to join and learn how to lead the Fantasmas. Because you are the next one to lead the Fantasmas." Jacob said. Emma who was feeling uneasy, started to walking back and forth.

"That can't be true. Max is still there. He can be a better leader than me. Hell, he'll always be a better leader than me." Emma said. It was dark so her watering eyes are unnoticed.

"I know it's hard to take in Emma but please. Just be obedient for once." Valentina said, Emma's brain not processing what her mom has said. Her not obedient to her mother? That was a lie. She always obeyed her mom's every command.

"Me? I need to be fucking obedient when all my life the serpents have been there all my life. The fantasmas does not even know me that well. Now your telling me to leave this gang and join yours? Well you can disown me cuz i don't want to be in the Fantasmas" Emma said, tears falling from her eyes. The serpent noticed which made them frown. Emma doesn't cry. Like ever. Only when she's having a hard time.

Emma stormed out not giving them another look. She revved her motorcycle and dashed to her trailer. Taking some money that would last her a week and some clothes and her phone while going to Greendale.

"What the fuck have we done Val." FP said, "I don't know FP. Why did we even have to do this to her." Valentina said immediately regretting testing Emma's loyalty.

"Emma is loyal to the serpents her whole life Jacob. Even without this test we already know she's loyal. We fucked up." Fp said running his hand through his hair. "We fucked up real good FP. Now Emma hates us. You better make Emma friends with us again." Sweet pea said storming out too.

Emma had stayed at the motel at Greendale. She said that she would stay there for a few days. She went to the convenience store, picking up some food, beers and Alcohols.

Fp had some serpents look for her. Considering that he knows Emma and what she does when she's hurt like what happened now. Sweet pea and Fangs volunteered to look for the girl considering she's their Best friend

Emma was highly drunk. She just stayed at her Room. Drowning herself with beers and alcohols. She glanced at her phone and saw Toni, Fangs, Sweet pea, Her parents, FP calling her, texting her. Emma didn't bother to answer the phone. She continued watching some tv trying to avoid her thoughts.

She cried herself to sleep. Trying to think that maybe someone will find her but, she's stupid. She ran away. Why would she want someone to find her.
