Out Of Time

Chapter 2

Some one once told me of a man with floppy hair and a bowtie that traveled throughout time and space in a bog blue box.

At the time, I didn't in the least bit believe her. Especially when she told me she was his wife. Honestly, I thought she had gone completely bonkers. Now, I know she was anything but bonkers.

I really hoped that after all these weeks, she'll finally tell me where the Doctor Is. That is if she's not in one of her mystery moods today.

I ran down the street to the secret U.N.I.T. entrance, and knocked on the door eleven times, how many times the Doctor has regenerated. All of a sudden, I was falling. Not very far though because a net soon caught me with a squeak of the springs. I was used to the new entrance by now, but i always felt like it was a trap for some unknown reason.

I walk over to the little green light on the wall, and let it scan my hand.

"Welcome. . . Clara. . . Oswin . . . Oswald. . ." It beeped, opening the Dalek/Angel/Cyberman proof door to let me pass. I had to walk the 2.7 miles now to River's "chambers".

The click-clack of my heels on the stone floor drew a lot of attention to me from the alien outlaws waiting to be sent to the high-security prison on the moon.

When I reach River's quote in quote "chambers", she's sitting on her bed looking at the floor. When I the guard opens the door, I walk in and sit down next to her." River," I say, "Do you know where the Doctor is?"

She let out a sigh before speaking, "In my time, he's in the Ood Sphere, but in your time, he's in The Dalek Asylum."

"How do you know? And what's the Dalek Asylum?" I ask.

"I know he's in the Ood Sphere because he told me that I will "die" in The Library, before he goes too Midnight and after he goes to the Ood Sphere. And I know that he's in the Dalek Asylum, and the Ood Sphere because I placed a tracking beacon that sends his coordinates to this little receiver ," she said, picking up the device. "that takes the coordinates right from his brain."

" But how did you get it all the way back to his 10th regeneration?" I ask.

"Oh Sweetie, it takes the coordinates from his memories too." She explains.

"So that means we can't get the Doctor in less than 3 days in time for the Nemesis comet when the Daleks plan to invade Earth, using the Weeping Angels." I pause to breathe. "Is there anyway to get Amy and Rory back from the 1980's?" I ask hopeful.

" I may know someone for time travel. . . " River says mysteriously.
