CHAPTER 7

MATT

Dether and I ran to the boundary and rogues in their human form had been waiting for us and they were standing with confidence.

“Who are you?” looking at them

“My dearest Alpha we are not the rogues who you think we are” the man spoke “I am Makawe and Keira is a very dear relative of mine and this is my mate Sarah”

“Prove your likeness” wanting to make sure that they are what they say they are

“Here” handing me a paper written by Keira and the paper was even from my office “She came to visit us yesterday and we heard the news”

“She went to Oaks?”

“Yes that is where are home is”

“With whom?” I asked

“She was alone when she visited”

“We may be pack less for now my dearest Alpha but we are with you - here take this and give it to Keira make her drink it and it will help her heal faster” as Sarah gave me a potion

“We’ve been saving that for years for situations like this but Keira needs it most – as much as we want to take care of her it is much best if you have her if this gets repeated we will take actions”

“You have my word”

“We won’t be of any disturbance anymore but mind us watching Keira” as they stepped back and shifted to their wolves

I was in Keira’s room as I gave her the potion and it felt like nothing was happening to her.

KEIRA

I felt numb and weak like I was caged on my own body and I can hear but couldn’t see.

Something got on my throat and burns like hell and Clara was howling as it got on my nerves

‘Wake up Keira, wake up’ hearing Clara

‘My body’s burning I don’t know what’s happening to me I can’t move’

‘I am hearing my mate’s cry for us Keira and I can’t stand it anymore you have to make it stop Keira’

‘I’m trying Clara’ as I try to control over my body but I guess all I can take over was my ear and I am hearing Matt’s voice and as much as I want to answer my lip was shut down

Then on a sudden onset the burn was getting intolerable and I can feel my wounds all sawed up and by the moment I think I was about to be burned my eyes started to open

Everything was yet blurry and I gained myself back as I looked around to see Matt asleep on my side.

My throat was all dry and my abdomen were still in pain and a lot was connected to me - the very first time I got hospitalized

I didn’t want to wake Matt up so I had been quite the whole time until a nurse came and was surprised I was waken up so I put my finger on my lip telling her to move quietly as she fixed on my IV’s

I played Matt’s hair and he was about to wake up already and as he lift his head I was smiling at him.

“Keira?” just smiling at him “Are you alright? – I’m sorry – I’m really sorry”

“Matt calm down I’m fine how long was I’ve been out?”

“At least 2 days and God, I’ve missed you so much” as he gave me hug and I hug him back
