The Mermaid Siren (Book one)

Chapter Fifteen

     The next day I just sit in bed reading a book when Sara comes in the room and slams the door which makes me jump. Oh Geez, what happened now?
     "Let me guess Suga's letting you go to go the party" she says sarcastically.
     "I chose not to go," I reply "besides he wouldn't let me go anyways."
     "The party's next week," Sara complains and sprawls across her bed.
     "Jimin's just being protective," I point out and she gives me a look.
     I close my book and put it on the nightstand next to my bed. We sit there in silence for a moment when my phone starts to vibrate. I pick up.
            *phone conversation*
Me: Hello?

Emma: Heyyy!

Me: What do you want?

Emma: Are you coming to the party next week?

Me: No, even if I wanted to I couldn't.

Emma: Why are they so protective?

Me: I don't know, it's not like I can read their minds!

Emma: Whatever, just try to persuade them to come

Me: I can try...

Emma: Good, hope to see you next week!

Me: Wait!

Emma: What?

Me: Did you give Jonah my phone number??

Emma: Maybe.... Bye!

Me: Wait-nevermind
            *End of conversation*

     I put my phone done and sigh. I look over and see Sara still sprawled across her bed. I slowly slide off my bed and go down stairs. I really shouldn't be doing this. I peer into the living room. No one there. Except for V. Maybe I should ask him? No, I have to ask Suga. Or.... I could ask them al at once.... Screw it. I'm asking V.
     I slowly walk in and V looks at me.
     "Hi...." I say "Um....."
     "What is it?" He ask confused.
     How do I tell him this?
     "You know what," I say giving it a second thought "nevermind, sorry to bother you."
     I leave the room. Wow, that was awkward. I mean, I guess that was normal for me since-actully nvm. AHHHHHHH!!!! WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO AKWARD???!!! Oohhh...nvm, I know why. It's because I.......
     "Hey Suga," I say when I go to the back porch.
     "Hi" he says and looks at me.
     "Um, so you know that party that Sara wanted to go to right?" I ask and he nods slowly. "Well I was thinking that maybe since Emma is going to be there then me and Sara can go."
     "No" he says simply.
     "Ok," I say "bye."
     Wow, that was easier than I thought it was. I head back up stairs and see that Sara was asleep. I look at the time on my phone and see its seven 'o clock. She must have been tired. I sit in bed and continue reading my book.
                *The next week*
     The party is today and Sara is really sad she's not able to go. I try to cheer her up but it doesn't work.
     "Why does Jimin have to be so protective?" She asks sprawled across her bed.
     "Because," I reply "he just doesn't want anything to happen to you."
     "I know but," she says "he doesn't have to be that protective."
     I shake my head. I tell Emma that I'm not able to go and she says that parents are going, so I tell Suga and he still says no. Now I know how Sara feels. The rest of the day me and Sara spend our time in our room talking. By the the time it's night time we don't even notice. I look at the time and see that it's eight. I yawn.
     "Maybe we should hit the sack," Sara says and I give her a look.
     "Who says 'hit the sacks' anymore?"
     "Um, me" she says and I chuckle I lay down and instantly fall asleep.
     A few hours later I wake up. I look at the time and see its ten. I look over to Sara's bed and see she's not there. I jump out of bed, put on a crop top, skinny jeans, and white high-top convers. Before I go down stairs I whispers Sara's name. No answer I run down stairs and call out her name there. Still no answer. Where could she have gone? Wait.... don't tell me she went to the party.... I turn on all the lights and hear a voice call my name. Luckily I recognize that voice. I  peer into the dining room and see V there. Great.
     "Hi..." I say slowly.
     "You ok?" He asks raising an eyebrow.
     The whole group comes down and joins us. How do I tell them?
     "Um, Sara's missing!" I blurt out and they all turn pale. "I think she's at the party."
     "Do you know where the house is?" Jimin asks worridly.
     "Yes," I reply and start to head for the door. "Come on!"
     We all get in the car and I direct them to where the house is. It's a few neighborhoods down. When we get there we get out of the car and Jhope knocks on the door.
     "We.dont have time to knock on the door!" I exclaim and open it. "Woah."
     Ok, two things good about this party.
     One: Parents are here.
     Two: No fights.
     Thank the gods. I look around trying to spot Sara.
      "We should split up!" I shout over the music.
     "Good idea" Jungkook says and we all go in different directions.
     I try to find Sara but I can't. I spot Emma and push through the crowd to get to her.
     "Emma!" I exclaim once I reach her.
     "Hey!" She says "I thought you said you weren't coming?"
     "I wasn't," I respond and she gives me a confused look. "I'm looking for Sara!"
     "Oh," she says smiling "I saw her with one of your guys' friends."
     "Which friend?" I ask narrowing my eyes.
     "Um," Emma says thinking "it was Ellie."
     "WHAT?!" I shout and acouple people look at me.
     Regconization lights up on Emma's face. "Ohhhh,  I forgot... Ellie bullied you! I don't get why though."
     "Me either," I lie "Wait.... I see Ellie-but no Sara."
     I run in the direction of Ellie and when she sees me she gives me a disgusted look.
     "Ellie!" I shout "have you seen Sara?"
     "Who?" Ellie asks confused.
     "Sara!" I repeat worried.
     "I don't know who Sara is," she says obviously not lie ing.
     "Ugh!" I exclaim and push through the crowd.
     Where is she?! I look through the whole house and can't find her, I leave the house and see BTS. They look up at me hopefully.
     "She's not in there!" I say, tears spring to my eyes.
     Now I know how she felt whenever I left.... where could Sara be?

Hewo!!!! To be honest this book is not what I expected it to be. I have to say this is probably my longest chapter ever! Sorry I haven't been uploading that much, I've been busy with school and cheer. See you guys in the next chapter!!!!
