the boy pulled haeun to the garden despite her complaints on how hard his grip was. he was mad given the many things taeyong took and is taking away from him, the many things they did.
"yuta, let go!" haeun exclaimed as they stopped. she gave her everything to pull her wrist that hurt so much and yuta looked unfazed.
"don't go near him or answer to me," he advised, sternly. he backed up and walked away from haeun to only hear her shout angrily.
"what are you talking about, yuta? why are you acting like this? we're, no, i'm finally where i wanted to be and you're putting on this show? yuta, don't you get it? we're done. you don't have to do anything anymore."
"haeun," he turned around and tried to look as calm and relaxed, "it's a deal we made and i said i had things to settle with taeyong. i guess it's a bit unfair that you got your share and not mine. we're in my game now, haeun, so act accordingly as i did." he walked towards haeun and tried to challenge the girl that can't do anything, but to follow him. it was a deal and she should stick to that. she sighed as she tried to look anywhere, but him until something popped up in her mind, what he said earlier.
"but what did you mean? you said, "she doesn't know everything she needs to know." what does that mean?"
"don't think too much about it, it's something i would tell you right now no matter what you say." he stood there, looking at the sky before getting the chance to look at her, haeun, the woman she had kept her eyes on for as long as he can remember.
"well that's it for today." yuta stood up and walked away, just like that.
haeun walked back to school, trying to understand everything that has happened, trying to know everything that she has done, what she has yet to do, and what she can't do. she's finally done it, the thing that occupied her mind for a long time. she's finally reached it, reached him, the person she's been meaning to be with for a long time. she can't stop now.
the hallways weren't full of students anymore, in fact, there were no more students. it looks like her talk with yuta made her skip classes, it was a first. her conversations weren't long, but standing and sitting with no words took up time more than she thought. while walking further down the hallways, the faster she went to where she and taeyong were earlier and what she saw there made her forget everything yuta said. taeyong was still there and his head were under his hands. he was sitting there, alone and he flinched when he felt haeun touch him.
"haeun," he looked up at the girl with tears in his eyes. he looked distraught for no apparent reason, or that was what she thought, "why are you still here?" actually, she didn't know. she didn't know why she came back here and tapped taeyong and let him know that she was there. her mind was a mess and she didn't want to do something without a plan, but there she was with him, with the person that made her that way, with the person that she keeps on wanting to go back to.
"okay, don't answer that. whatever reason you have just please, please stay," taeyong asked. she was happy, maybe because her plan worked; she made him jealous in a way that it led him back to her and that it finally looks like he wants her.
"you know, we'd look powerful together," he said which made him laugh because it was something odd to say, but as haeun thought about it, it looked true.
"and so what if we're powerful together?"
"it means that we should be together because it's better that way, for both of us."
and that's the part where haeun leans forward and kisses taeyong for another time. it was something that looked like she won't ever get bored with. the two looked reckless, they cared for the present and never for the future. they may be powerful, but considering who these two people were and what they have done, it won't look good and do good. they'll never work out and they just can't see it. they'll falter and end up killing themselves if they do this, but they didn't look like they cared or they didn't look like they knew it either.
"haeun really never listens to me, doesn't she? gotta say, hurts like hell, but we gotta do what we have to, right?"
