//this chapter is kinda boring. You and the principal just talk about books n shit.\\

The Principal leads me to my desk, appearing happier than he was when I first arrived. After he makes sure I'm comfortable, him and Arts n Crafters walk over to the corner of the room, where Arts n Crafters grabs a wrapped tray and The Principal grabs a few coffee mugs out of the closet. A few moments later, Arts n Crafters walks up to the desk sitting at the front of the room, tray in hand. (she doesn't even have hands but oKAy) she places it on the desk and lifts the foil off to reveal a dozen white, fluffy cupcakes decorated to look like Sans Undertale. That's right, this isn't just a ddlc crossover anyMORe bOys
"I had no idea you were so good at baking, Arts n Crafters!" Baldi smiled at the socc. "Ehehe...well...y'know..." she blushed (if that's even possible for a sock to dO) "Just hurry and take one already!" I stand up and walk over to the others to grab a cupcake. "It's delicious!" Playtime exclaimed, her mouth full of sans, crumbs falling out of her mouth. Rip.

Arts n Crafters is quiet. I notice her sneakinh glances in my direction, not really paying any attention to what Playtime was saying. Is she waiting for me to eat it? Or is she just being creepy like everyone else at this god forsaken schoolhouse? I slowly bite into sans's one glowing blue eye. "This is really good. Thank you." I say to Arts n Crafters.
"W-why are you thanking me? It's not like I-" oh no. Here it comes. The classic tsundere line. "It's not like I...mAde them for yoU or any t Hing...bAKa..." "I mean, you technically did since I'm part of the club now." She crosses her arms "Yeah b-but...not for- y'know, yOU!" She grabs a cupcake and walks back to her own desk. I give up on her weird logic and continue eating sans.

The Principal returns to the desk, carrying a tea set. Except there's no tea cups or a tea pot. Just coffee. Only coffee. Nice. He places a cup in front of each of us. "I hope you like coffee, Y/n." He smiles at me. "If not, I can make you something else." I grab my cup and smile back. "No, it's ok. I like it." "W-well I'm glad..." he says, a faint blush on his face (ehdskskskdkek what am I doiGJn) "how did you get a coffee machine in here?" I asked. "Don't worry, the teachers gave up permission. After all, doesn'a hot cup of coffee help you enjoy a good book?" He sipped his coffee. "Uh...yeah I guess." I lied. I haven't picked up a book in months. "Ahah, don't let yourself get intimidated. The Principal's just trying to impress you." Baldi smirked. The Principal blushed. "Huh?! T-That's not what I-" he looked away in embarrassment. "I...I meant that y'know..." "I believe you." I could tell he was obviously uncomfortable. "Coffee and reading isn't really a passtime for me, but I do like coffee."
"That's...That's good." He faintly smiles to himself in relief.

"So, what kinds of things do you like to read?" I wanted him to be comfortable around me, so I tried to be interested in at least one of his hobbies. "Well, let's see..." he traced the rim of his mug with his finger. "My favorites are usually novels that build deep and complex fantasy worlds." "Like?"
He pondered that question for a moment before answering. "The Clifford the big red dog series. My favorite is probably Clifford's First School Day. Clifford's first day in school follows him through a day filled with fingerpainting, cookie-baking, and other messy misadventures. It reminds me of the innocence of little children. They have nothing to worry about, no care in the world. It reminds me of the time when I though school was exciting and fun, just like Clifford. Isn't it amazing how a writer can so deliberately take advantage of your own lack of imagination to completely throw you for a loop?"

I was shocked. He seemed so reserved and timid since the moment I walked in. He obviously finds is comfort in the world of books, not people. "I also enjoy reading other genres of books. For example, Jokes for Minecrafters: Booby Traps, Bombs, Boo-Boos, and More, which is a comedy book. If you are a big Minecraft fan, like me, then you are fluent in Minecraft-speak, so it will give you endless hours of laugh out loud fun. It's filled with hilarious jokes such as, 'Did you hear about the noob who spent the first few minuted of nigtfall running arund without any weapons? It wasn't long before she was destroyed.'"
The author obviously copied that off of the back of the book, but whatever.
"But enough about me, what kind of books do you like?" I was afraid of this question. He seemed very passionate about his reading, so how was I supposed to become better friends if we don't even share the same hobbies? I thought about it for a second. "Manga..." I muttered to myself. Playtime slapped me and ran away.
The Principal awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. "Not much of a reader I guess..." "but that can change." I gave him a soft smile. "If you really want that to change, I highly recommend the Clifford series." He smile back. "OKAy!!1!!1! I think you've been talking to Y/n long enough... how about you give the other members a chance to get to know her, hm?" Baldi jumped in between the two of us. The Principal stepped back. "Uhm..of course. I needed to make myself more coffee anyways...see you later." Before I could say goodbye he walked back to the coffee machine.
