A Vampire's Adventure

Chapter 3 : Lost souls

Martin is feeling scared but he doesn't want to show it. He knows that any mistake against this creature within Maya's body will make him lose his life.

She jumps on him but he quickly dodges it. She punches him but he blocks it with his trusty Katana. He's quick and smart, fighting him seems harder than fighting Jack. When he decides to attack, she takes the hit easily. The shiny sword pierces through her hand. She smiles and starts laughing loudly. Then she suddenly starts crying.

-"Save me, neither I nor Maya can control this body."

-"Maria is dead! But that's her voice, how can this happen?"

Then she takes his hand and throws him through the door of the mansion.

She jumps behind him and enters the field where Amber and the grandmother are testing elixirs. She runs quickly and bounces on the table where different liquids are put. She takes it and throws it on the ground, she has broken all the elixirs except two that Amber saved. The crazy vampire girl takes the Katana stuck in her hand and dashes to the grandmother's location. She takes the sword and slashes it toward the old woman. Martin jumps and takes the hit right in the guts for his beloved grandmother.

-'RUN!" screams Martin.

Amber and her grandma run toward the door. Liam and Jack enter but Amber takes their hands and says that they need to escape.

Martin screams in pain but his killer twists the weapon even harder.

-"Why?" she whispers.

-"It's what humans call appreciation...'' says Martin while bleeding from his mouth. Then he adds:

-"It's true that she's human but she did the best to make us live happily..."

-"There was no need to speed up your ending. There is also no way to delay anybody's death. I'm killing all of you." She threatens.

She takes the sword out of his stomach and puts her hand in through the hole in his body. She searches for his heart and takes it out of its place.

She tastes the blood running down. The heart becomes even paler than Russell's heart was after that she sucks blood out of it. Martin falls to the ground. The silence covers the place. The girl's eyes turn to green after all the action and murder. The fangs she used to sip the blood disappeared.

She starts crying just like she did after Russell's murder. Then she jumps so high that she destroys the mansion's ceiling to get to the top. She finds a lake pretty close to the building she's on. She jumps and runs inside the water. Her eyes turn red and her legs stop her from moving further. She dives into the water with blue eyes. She goes out of it with green ones.

-"I can't take it anymore. Liam must save me or I ..." Says Maya before she gets interrupted by her eyes turning to red again.

-"I kill everybody and rule the world."

She jumps to Martin's Katana, takes it with her and starts following the trail of the escapers.

Mean while

Amber, Liam and Jack are gathering around their grandmother in a cave far away from the crazy killer.

-"Listen kids, I need to tell you something." Says the grandma.

-"I made a monster." She sights.

-"Can you explain what happened?" Asks Liam.

-"It's hard but grandma and I could figure out some of the truth behind this killing machine." Apologizes Amber.
