Chapter 2 : Revenge

Part 2

"March First, Poveglia, Venice, Italy"

After a long trip to Italy, the passengers arrived. It has been three days since the start of a calm journey. Now, Maya she is making her steps on an island called Poveglia. That's Liam's homeland. There no phone service, no high building and clouds are decorating the sky. Amber mentioned that some of people on this piece of land are vampires under cover.

-"They live on the dark side of this scary island" said Jack.

Liam takes Maya's hands and says in a serious warning voice:

-"You need to watch out for every step. Your scent is what makes you in danger. "

Maya gets terrified from the images that pass through her mind. She is not used to these kind of places.

- "The place is scary." said Maya.

-"It's even worse during the night." said Liam.

-"It's time to meet grandma." Exclaims Amber with a large smile on her face,'' I really miss her. "

Maya stands and starts to prepare herself for a long car ride.

Jack smirks and says:

"We're not called vampires in vain."

Maya's eyebrows rise from surprise. She replies:

"Is there another thing I need to know? Are you guys able to fly?"

Liam looks towards her and says:

"Not exactly. We're able to jump high and for a long distance. But we prefer to use it secretly. Here none will call the cops on us because there are no cops in this area and none to call them."

-"There was some here but they were the feast of Robert's gang." Said Amber.

-"Ugh I'm looking forward to meet the new members so I can tear them apart." Screams Jack with a voice full of joy.

-"Babe are you feeling cold? Do you want a hug? " asked Liam.

-"Yeah I really need it. "

Maya walks to Liam's open arms and hugs him. He holds her stronger than usual and jumps with her on the roof of a burned house.

Maya is speechless. The speed of Liam and his light movements made the ambience less scary. She inhales and says:

"I don't want to die."

Liam smiles and starts running. He's too fast to be detected by the normal eye. Amber follows with steps even lighter but Jack smashes the ground with his loud footsteps.

After few jumps and some minutes of running, the vampires traveled five kilometers. Once they arrive to the grandma's house, they find a guy fighting ten other guys all alone in front of the gate. While even more bloody corps are around them.

Maya screams:

"Leave him be."

The bullies turn to Maya. The victim takes two guys and throws them at Jack.

"I felt your presence brother. That's my welcoming gift for you." Said the bullied guy.

Jack jumps in the air and crashes through the targets' skulls brutally.

"Thanks Martin. I missed doing that."

Then Martin takes injections from his belt. In a blink of an eye, he plants the medicine into the attackers' bodies. Three seconds later, their heads explode one by one...
