After a couple days of exploring LA and spending quality time with her favorite cousin, Kailani was finally getting some down time before having her first company practice with immaBEAST.

She sat on the couch watching Netflix when Julian came to join her. He handed her the popcorn and took the remote, changing the movie.

"Hey," she whines. "I was watching that."

Julian playfully stuck his tongue out at her. "Sucks."

She rolls her eyes and threw some popcorn into her mouth. "So, Jules, I've been meaning to ask you.."

Oh shit, I hope she isn't asking about Sean, Julian immediately thought in a panic.

"Yes?" he asks in anticipation.

She giggled. "You never mentioned any of the girls in your friend group whenever we would FaceTime.."

He raised his eyebrow. "And..?

"Well, why is that? Do they make you nervous?" she teases, poking his side.

"No!" he says defensively, slapping her hand away. "I'm just closer with my boys, that's all."

"Yeah, right." she smirks. "You likeeee someone."

"What are we, in the 2nd grade? Geez, Kai." he groans.

"Oh, so you're not denying it?"

Julian stays silent and continues to munch on popcorn.

"Oh my God, no way!" she squeals, sitting on her knees and facing Julian. "Which one?? Is it Lexee? Oh my God, it's Lexee, isn't it?"

He makes a face. "God, no! Lexee is like my best friend."

Suddenly, it clicked.

"Holy shit, it's Chloe!!!!" she screams. She continues to freak out as Julian buries his face into his hands.

"Stop it, Kai," he says, pushing her shoulder playfully. "We're just friends."

"But you likeeee her," she giggles.

He shrugs. "I don't know. I mean, we're really close but I don't know if she sees me like that."

Suddenly, there's a knock at the door.

Kailani's eyes light up. "Hmm, I wonder who that could be.." she says as she stood up to get the door.

"Kai, I swear to God if that's Chloe, I'm gonna—" he stops as Kailani opens the door and Chloe, Lexee, Bailey, and Kaycee walk in.

"Hey!!" they all say.

Julian facepalmed himself.

Lexee smirks. "Wow, Jules, nice to see you too."

"Um.. I should get ready for tonight's class.." he says, getting up to head to his room.

"What? No, stay!" Chloe says, taking the seat next to him.

Kailani raised her eyebrow.

Does she like him too?

"Uh, okay.." he says uneasily, sitting back down.

"Me and the girls are going to the Grove before dance class tonight. They're not staying long anyways." she winks at Julian before retreating to her room.

She slips into her dance clothes, just a typical cropped tank top and leggings. She put on a sweater over top in case it was cold later and put her shoes on. Stepping out of the room, she smiles as she sees Chloe and Julian talking.

"Alright, ready!"

After walking around the Grove for an hour or so, it was almost time for immaBEAST practice. The girls decided to grab smoothies before heading out. Kailani was having a great time getting to know the girls and was happy she ended up making friends easily. She wasn't sure how easy it would be to become friends with these people considering they were already all so close and had been dancing together for years. But they welcomed her with open arms and were happy to include her. It definitely made the transition from the Philippines to LA life a lot easier for her.

"So.. Kai.." Lexee begins with a mischievous smile on her face. "We saw you talking with Sean after Matt's workshop the other day.. Something goin' on?"

Kailani laughs. "God, no. He was just asking me what I thought of his dancing."

"And what'd you say?" Bailey asked, curious.

"Something along the lines of 'good, I guess'" she says, shrugging.

Kaycee laughed. "Oh wow, and how did he take that?"

"Not well.. he seemed kind of shocked."

Chloe rolls her eyes. "Of course.. he's not used to people not thinking much about his dancing."

"But he's seriously really good." she says, biting her lip. "I've never seen anyone really dance like him before."

The girls agreed. It was honestly hard to deny. No one was on Sean's level and he knew that.

"Anyways, enough about me." Kailani said, turning to Chloe. "What about you and Jules, huh?" she grins.

"W-What?" Chloe stammers. "Nothing's going on."

Kailani rolls her eyes. "Yeah, sure okay." she says sarcastically. "I saw the way you two look at each other. Don't lie."

The girls giggle and tease Chloe. "Yeah, don't act like it isn't true. Chlo."

She sighs. "Alright, fine, I like him okay?"

"This is amazing." Kailani squeals. "Don't tell him I said it but he likes you too."

She notices Chloe's eyes brighten at the sound of the news. "Really?" she says, trying to hide the excitement in her voice.

"Yeah, he literally just told me before you guys came over!" she exclaims. "Chloe, you have to go for it."

She makes a face. "Me? Why do I have to make the first move?"

Kailani sighs. "Because Julian has an irrational fear of rejection. He doesn't think you feel the same so I doubt he'd do anything like make a move."

"But just tell him I like him too!"

"Even if I told him that, it wouldn't be enough for him to actually do something." she pauses. "I know him. Plus, he hasn't really been with anyone before since he left Jersey because he doesn't know how to talk to girls. To save him the embarrassment, it would probably be best if you did it."

She sighs. "Should I really go for it?"

"Chloe, I see the way you two look at each other when you guys dance. He's so drawn to you!" Kaycee says. "I think you should go for it."

The girls agree, playfully nudging Chloe's shoulder.

"Shit, guys, we gotta go! Practice is starting in an hour and we still have traffic to get through." Lexee says, standing up.

They rush out and to Lexee's car. The second Kailani sits down in the back she suddenly realized this was her first practice in the prestigious immaSPACE and with immaBEAST.. which means she will be dancing along some of the most talented people in the dance industry.

Kailani gulped.

Well, here goes nothing...
