Unlikely Friends (A Cody Simpson FanFic)

Chapter 26- Toby

     I was cracking up. "Wait, so you mean to tell me, that you and Jake got suspened for 2 weeks, because, you started a food fight, and then refused to clean it up? That is soooo stupid." He was laughing too. "I know, and then when we came back, we had to clean the caffeteria after our lunch period for a week." He half yelled with disbelief. "That's just wrong." He nodded his head.

     It was now 3:30am and we were in his room watching replay of Australia's Got Talent. "You know, Cody's not usually like this." Toby randomly stated. "What are you talking about." I raised an eyebrow. "I don't know why he's doing this. He never goes around just kissing girls, especially when he has a girlfriend. Alli told me about Kylie, at the party. And now Giorgia? I don't know what got into him." I shook my head and looked down. "Neither do I." I sadly stated, and rested my head on his shoulder. Soon enough, I fell asleep.

     I woke up to the smell of pancakes. I slowly opened my eyes, still heavy with sleep and looked around. Forgetting that I satyed at Toby's, I fraked out a little. Oh Sh*t. I'm at Toby's Cody is not going to be happy. I looked at the other side of the bed to see that Toby was no longer there. My phone dinged. Once again, I sighed. 14 messages 13 of which were from Cody, and 5 missed calls all from Cody. The other message was from Alli wondering how everything was going.

     My phone dinged again, another message from Cody. I read it, 'where the f*ck are you?' I rolled my eyes. Yea, that's right Cody. Swearing at me is going to get me to reply to you, real smart of you. I rooled out of the bed (not litteraly), opened the door, and walked downstairs. I could hear Toby in the kitchen, so I walked into there. I yawned. Toby chuckled. "Good morning." He was sitting at the island, so I sat next to him. "Yeah, you too." I sarcastically replied. "Oh yea, I forgot. Cody told me your not a morning person." I cringed at the name. "Don't. Mention. That. Bas-" I noticed Toby's mom was in the room and listening so I used a much kinder word. "Name. Again." I said very clearly.

     Toby's mom 'coughed'. Toby turned a light shade of red. "Oh, mom. This is Sophia." I kind of smiled. "Nice to meet you." She bobbed her head. "So, um. What where you doing last night." Toby looked embarrased and I started cracking up. "No, no, no, no. Nothing like that. I just needed someone to talk to." I finaly started calming down. "Mom. Only friends. She's dating Co-" He got cut of by another voice, which happened to be mine. "Yea, not for much longer." Toby looked confused. "Toby, this is the second time that he's kissed another girl while going out with me. And I'm not going to let it happen again. The only to insure it won't happen is to not be with him." I whispered tha last sentence. I was blinking back tears.

     I heard foot steps walking away, assuming they belonged to Toby's mom I looked up. To surprise my self, I was looking at Mrs. Smith. "Ummmmmm?" I looked around. "Sweetie, boys are just flat out dumb." I had to stop my self from laughing. "You could say that again." I muttered under my breath. Toby's mother chuckled, "No, I mean to say they do stupid things. They think they are cool when they do it. From the things Toby has told me, that Cody said about you. He seems to be very much in love with you. I understand that you are mad, and it is the second time he has done this, but just give him another chance. Thrid times a charm!" She finished having a hopeful look in her eyes. I thought for a moment. "I want to...............................................But, I just don't know if I can. Yet again, it would be kind of awkward since I live with the Simpsons'. Urgh, fine." Her eyes lit up. "You won't regret it Dear." With that, she walked out of the room. What have I just got myself into.

     I pulled up Cody's messages on my phone.

Me: yeah, coz swearing at me is gonna get me to reply

Cody <3: Well obviouslly it does, because you didn't reply to any of my texts before that.

Me: ...............

Cody: ha. wt was in Toby's pants last night? he snapped at me.

Me: .............really?

Cody: /:T

Me: he snapped because your an ass hole.

Cody: Wth is tht supposed 2 mean?

Me: Exactly what I said? What? Are you dumb too?

Cody: I meant explain 2 me how im a ass hole.

I sent him the picture Toby sent me of him and Giorgia kissing.

Cody: Babe, I can explain

Me: Go on?

Cody: She was upset and sad, so I was comforting her. Then she got the wrong idea and she kissed me.

Me: thts where you went wrong Cody. U shuld have been comforting me......... Ur girlfriend.

Cody:  u didn't need comforting, ur not the one tht got smacked. I still can't believe you did tht.....

Me: I didn't make those things up Cody. She did call me a whore and a slut.

Cody: idk y u keep saying that. Giorgia, wouldn't hurt a fly.

Me: Why would I be making this up?

Cody: Beacuse ur jealous of wt I have with her? Shes a model.

I gasped, he basically indirectly called me ugly, and he must've noticed it too.

Cody: Babe, I didn't mean it like that.

Me: GO HAVE FUN WITH GIORGIA YOU ASS HOLE. WE ARE DONE. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU JUST SAID THAT TO ME.

     I contiued to sit on the stool alone. I couldn't believe that Cody didn't text me back. Tears slowly fell from my eyes. I said goodbye to Toby and his mother, and walked back to the Simpsons'. As I walked up to the front door, I took the key out of the back of my phone case. I tried the front door, locked. So I slid the key in the whole and unlocked the door. When I walked past Cody's bedroom I felt a tinge of guilt. I packed all my things, called the airport and ordered a ticket for the next flight back to L.A. Then I called a taxi to come pick me up.

     I looked around for Matt. I had texted him while on the plane, and told him I was coming home. He thankfully didn't question me. I found him around the bag pickup after signing and taking picutres with some fans. After being mobbed by fans, we got to his car. We drove in silence.

"Well, this is awkward." Matt stated staring ahead, looking at the road.

I gave him a puzzled look.

"Cody called me, and told me everything that happened."

I nodded my head.

"He's a mess Sophia." Matt shook his head a little.

"He indirectly called me ugly Matt." I whispered, as I felt my face heat up and tears come to my eyes.

"He didn't tell me that." His eyes widened. "Go on."

We pulled up to a stoplight. I showed him the messages from Cody.

He looked pissed off. "I can't believe him. To be honest, I was never a huge fan of her." He smirked, which caused me to smile.
