I Never Searched, But I Found You

Part 15

Appa cries at Ishita's bidaai. Ishita says "Don't get emotional Appa. Amma says "She will come to us daily, she is in our neighborhood. "

Mr. Bhalla asks Appa not to worry as they will be keeping Ishita as their daughter.

Mrs. Bhalla says " lets go, we have to do their Grah pravesh also."
The Bhallas leave for home. Amma consoles Appa.

Mrs. Bhalla welcomes Ishita . She tells Ishita to cover her head with ghunghat. Ishita does so. Mrs. Bhalla does their tilak and aarti.

She asks Ishita to hit the kalash and come in with Raman. Mrs. Bhalla takes Ishita inside..

At Iyer"s
Amma comes to Ishita's room and looks at her photo. She cries. Appa comes to her and says  "You made fun of me when I cried, now look at yourself. "

Amma says "I wished Ishita to get married in good house, but I did not know she will leave us. "

Appa says "She is close to you.
Amma says "I wish she stays happy". Appa says  "Yes, she will bring happiness in everyone's life."

At Bhalla"s
Mrs. Bhalla asks Ishita to go and get ready . She asks Simmi to show her the room.
Simmi says  "This is your room, if you need anything, let me know.""
She asks Raman "Where should I keep my clothes." He says "In the cupboard, where else? I have made room for you."
Raman helped Ishita with the suitcase.

Ishita looked at the bed, Raman noticed it..
R: Do not worry you'll sleep in bed and I'll sleep on the couch.
I: Thank You
R: Maybe you should rest for a while.
I: First I want to unpack my stuffs.

Later in the night
Ishita lay in bed and Raman on the couch.
Raman already had back pain. Ishita felt restless and the baby was so active it kicked and it felt like it had a party in her stomach. Raman looked over at her.

R: Can't you sleep ?
I: No, the baby is so active, it kicked. Why are you not sleeping ?
R: My back kills me.

Ishita thought for a while, she was sorry that he had to sleep on the couch and he had back pain.
I: Raman ?
R: Hmmm
I: Come , you can lie down in bed, you have back pain. The bed is big enough.
R: Are you sure ?

Ishita nodded. Raman took his blanket and pillow and went to bed. Ishita rubbed her stomach to calm the Baby. She spoke softly to the baby.
I: Now it is late mera bacha and babies are already sleeping.

Raman watched Ishita talking to the baby and was touched. Ishita looked at him and smiled,  "I think, the baby fell asleep." Raman smiled back.

The days passed and IshRa became more and more friends. Raman went into the office in the morning and came back in the evening. Ishita fulfilled her duties as a wife as well as she could. Mr.Bhalla treated her like a daughter. Mrs.Bhalla tolerated her, but did not really accept her. Romi and Simmi were so nice to her...

Raman's and Ishita's marriage had spread quickly and spread like a fire. The women's world mourned and cried for RKB. But also rumors went around, Ishita lured him into the "baby trap"

One day Raman sat in the office when his secretary knocked on the door. She told him Miss Arora was there and wanted to talk to him. Raman let her in.

R: Shagun, what a surprise, how are you ?
SH: Hello Raman, thank you I'm fine, how are you ?
R: I can't complain.
SH: How is your wife, what was her name ?
R: Her name is Ishita and she and the baby are fine.
SH: Oh yes, the baby, you actually become a father. I can not believe it.

Raman nodded and smiled

SH: Can I ask you something without you getting angry?
R: let's see
SH: Did you just marry her because she is pregnant ?
R: What makes you think that ?
SH:!Well, you are RKB, the Playboy from Delhi. You enjoy women and to be free. Why should you tie yourself to a tree if you can have the whole forest ?!

Raman was quiet and said nothing.

SH: Raman Kumar Bhalla! I can not believe it, you were careless and made this girl pregnant and that's why you married her.
I suppose you just recently married her and not 6 months ago or already 7 months ago.

R: Shagun, did you come here for this ?
SH: Oh Raman, How could you be so stupid ? She lured you into the trap. I have to admit, very smart girl. She looks innocent and is a gold digger . WOW „!

R: Stop talking so badly about her, she is not such a woman. Not only does she look innocent, she is too.!
SH: Well, if she was so innocent then she would not have gotten pregnant without being married.

R: How innocent were you when I went to bed with you ? How many men did you sleep with ? before me ?
I was the only man for Ishita, there was no one else  bevor me! Stop questioning the decency of my wife.

Shagun was shocked. Raman asked her to leave his office.

Raman was not in love with Ishita, but she was his wife, his friend, and she would soon be the mother of his child. And he would not let anyone talk bad and disrespectful about her.!

When Raman came home from the office, he did not tell Ishita about the conversation with Shagun.

In the evening, when she was in bed, Ishita was not feeling well. She got up and went to the bathroom to vomit Raman stood at the door of the bathroom and asked if everything was alright. He got no answer.

R: Ishita, are you alright ?...
Ishita , I'm coming in, now

Raman went in and saw Ishita standing against the wall, she was pale and had her eyes closed. He lifted her up into his arms  snd carrying her over to the bed and gently laying her down against the bed. He gave her water to drink.

R: Are you ok ?
Ishita nodded. Raman lay down next to her. He took her in his arms and make her fall asleep.
