Part 33

Adi was now 9 months old, has 6 teeth, can sit alone. He start pull himself up on things. He had learned to shake his head at the word  "No"

Adi had separation anxiety. He was. very clingy and wanted to be in Ishita"s  proximity all the time. Adi  was  crying for Ishita when she leave him or if  she  get out of sight, for instance, leave the room.

Ishita wrapped Adi against her chest, before starting the day with the task to do while wearing her baby.

When Raman came back from the office , he went upstairs to the bedroom. Adi"s toys lay everywhere on the floor.
R: What are you doing ?
I: Crawling with Mumma
Adi smiled,Raman picked him up from the floor.
R: How is my boy ?

Ishita got up and Adi held his arms towards her. Raman handed her Adi.
R: You look tired
I: I'm fine
R: I need a shower
I: I will warm your food
R: No, I'll do it myself

Raman went to the bathroom and Ishita made Adi ready for bed. After the shower, Raman went to the kitchen to eat. When he returned to the room, Ishita was in bed with Adi. Adi drank his milk, while Ishita stroked his head.

Raman sat down on the bed
R: Are you Ok ?
I: Yes
R: You look stressed
I: For a few days he wants to no other except me. I have to carry him around the whole day. He starts to cry, as soon as he does not see me.
R: I thought that was because he is teething.

Ishita laughed
I: He cling to my  legs, spider-monkey style, and scream until he  turn red, but don't worry, it's very normal indeed!

Raman stroked his son's head

I: I'll go shopping with Adi tomorrow, he's growing so fast.
R: Ok
Raman gave her a kiss and then went to work on the laptop.

Ishita was shopping at the mall with Adi. Her phone rang, it was Mani.

MA: Ishu , where are you ?
I: Hi Mani , I'm in the shopping mall with Adi.
MA: Would you like me to come there? and we have coffee together ?
I: Ok Mani
MA: See you

Ishita bought things for Adi, Half an hour later, her phone rang and Mani told her he was in the mall. They met at the coffee shop.

I: Hello Mani
MA: Hello Ishita
Mani spoke to Adi but he shook his head
I:  Don't take it personally. My child is shy with strangers.
MA: How are you Ishita ?
I: I'm fine, how are you ?
MA: we'll,we'll

They ordered coffee and talked. Shagun, who also was shopping in the mall with her friends, spotted the two.

SH: Look, who do we have here ? Mrs.Bhalla drinking coffee with another man.

She picked up her phone and clicked a picture.

SH: What will your husband say when he finds out ?  Mother India
Shagun laughing, She sent Raman the picture.

I thought you should know how your wife spends her free time, while you work in the office.

Raman had not responded to Shagun's message,he did not want to give her the satisfaction. He suppressed the anger.He would ask Ishita later.

Later, when Raman was home, he asked Ishita  how her day was. She told him about her shopping day, but not a word about Mani. Raman gave her another chance.

R: Anyone met ?
I: No
R: No ?
I: Raman what do you mean ?
R: I thought maybe you met friends
I: No, only me and Adi

"Why is she lying to me ? Does she secretly meet with this Mani"? Thought Raman

Raman waited until Adi slept then he went into the bathroom and called Ishita .

I: What Raman ?
R: Only you and Adi ?
I: What ?

Raman showed her the picture on the phone. Ishita was shocked.

R: Only you and Adi ?
I: Are you spying on me ?
R: I don't need that, someone sent it to me
I: Who ?
R: Does it matter ? would it explain why you lied to me ?

I: Yes, I lied, but ...
R: You are Raman Bhalla's wife, everyone knows this and see your actions, what did you think ?
I: We only had a coffee and a talk
R: And why are you lying to me ? he shouted at her.

Ishita started crying

R: Do you secretly meet him ?
I : No, He called me when I was in the mall
R: What is the problem, why are you lying ? It makes the whole thing look like a secret meeting.

I:  I did not want a fight with you because you do not like him.
R: Oh, then I should now meet with Shagun behind your back, because you don't like her.

Ishita cried and shook her head "No"
R: Why are you lying ?
I: I was scared that you would get angry, I am sorry.!

When she stood before him and wept bitterly, he felt sorry for her.

I: Please believe me, I don't cheat you. Mani is just a friend.

Raman ran his Hand through his hair

I: Do you think I'm cheating on you?
R: No , but how to trust you when you lie to me ?
I: I promise it will never happen again. I am sorry.

He gently wiping away her tears.
R: Sorry  for yelling on you
I: It was my fault.
R: I admit I don't like this Mani, but please do not lie to me anymore Ok ? I will hold back with my anger.
I: No more, promised

they hugged each other.

I: Who sent you the pic ?
Raman sighed, "Shagun"
I: I see
R: What, I did not instructed ,her to spy on you.
I: No, but this witch could not wait to send you this picture as it causes a dispute between us.

R: That's what I meant when I said everybody knows you're my wife. People like Shagun take advantage of such situations.

R: I don't care about Shagun, I want,that there are no secrets between us.
I: No more , Promised

I: Why do you have her number?
R: I don't have
I : Why does she have your number?
R: I don't know

Ishita pouted
I: Are you going to have coffee with her now ?
R: Maybe, Raman smirked
I: Dare it
R: Oh Hello, are you jealous ?

Ishita pouted

Raman kissed her, she returned the kiss and tell his name.

He pushed her up against the bathroom  wall, pinning her body down with his and letting his hands roam everywhere; no holding back.
She moaned into his mouth as his cold hands caressed her heated skin. He pulled back, breaking off the kiss, and pressed his lips to her neck. She took in a deep breath and arched her back against the wall. She panted into his ear and let her fingers lace into his free hand. He pinned their hands above their heads on the wall.
