With You, Saranghae..(2)

The conversation carried on as time flew by, and before they knew it, the moon have already high in the sky. The night is old, but Yunho was reluctant to see the end of their conversation.

He could see the new Onew, as did Onew see the new Yunho. Without any pretence, they carried on. Yunho kept it light, clever to avoid certain subject, and Onew was assertive to follow suit.

"Would you like to go to your homeland?" Yunho asked him, and almost instantly he could see light dancing in Onew's warm eyes, so beautiful it captivated his heart.

Their eyes locked in a pulling gaze, and before they realized it, they were mere a sheet away from each other.

"The question is can i? that beast made me bound to this place." Onew's warm breath was caressing Yunho like a lover's touch, his heart was in a mess from wanting to devour him right on that spot. He decided not to do that, the moment was too precious to be spoilt.

Yunho smiled weakly, feeling somewhat guilty for everything. He wanted, he needed, to touch the beautiful creature infront of him, but he realized that he's 'the beast' that Onew was talking about.

"Will it be possible for the beast to be your friend? maybe all he wanted was to be close to you. Maybe he was afraid of his own fragile heart...maybe..just maybe...when you see him, you can see how hurt he really was?" Yunho spoke so gently, his forehead touched Onew's, with no pun intended.

He laced his fingers with ones of Onew's, with trembling and weak gesture, as if he was afraid that he will be rejected. But he didn't. Onew gave him a chance to amend his fault.

"If he's really hurt then i guess he should let me know, maybe i could help him.." Onew's voice was barely audible, but it was enough to send Yunho to the clouds.

"Would you hear my heart, angel? this unworthy heart?"

Onew nodded in agreement.

Then everything was pouring out from Yunho. He kept his distance safe from the other man so he could talk freely.

"Once there was a boy, young and scared, he was brought into the court where the Elders held a meeting. His fate was about to be decided, he was standing there with his younger brother." Yunho peeked up to make sure that Onew was really listening to him before he continued.

"I, we, my brother and i, were told to do some test to determined which one of us was going to be the Emperor. He always have a strong inner power, and in the last battle, i was lost. I couldn't bring my heart to hurt him in a physical way. And that day, they appointed him the Emperor."

Yunho paused, he turned his back from Onew, as if he was embarrased of his condition.

"I'm a worthless guy. But my generous brother appointed me as a Grand Vizier, he said he needed me to govern this vast land. I was about to go, to shunned myself from my homeland, but he asked me to stay."

"Everything was well until i saw you during the spring festival, around four springs before this year. You were so lively, unlike me. You were so innocent and pure, everything that i'm not."

"Eversince that day, my heart thump strangely everytime i think about you. I was determined to introduce myself properly to you, since you have brightened up my days from the day that i lay my gaze on you."

"Onew was the name i whispered before i go to sleep, and the name i woke up from the nicest dream about you. Everything was beautiful until the Elder called me back that day."

"They said, inconsiderately, that we have to share you. That you are the only one deemed worthy to carry our offspring. My heart shattered in million pieces, but i managed to smile all through the ordeal. Am i not good?"
