It hurts him so bad to see his Booin in this state of mind. Changmin stood up and walked to where Onew knelt and sobbed uncontrollably, his own heart was racing with sadness.

How could he, as an Emperor, the leader of his people, the most powerful man in his territories, be powerless in the face of this most precious person in his heart?

Onew might not know and Changmin didn't show him that much, but for the young leader, Onew was his everything. His world, his life, his ultimate love.

He knelt before that hunching form infront of him, and reached out his hands to lift Onew's face, cupping it between his hands gently.

"I'm really sorry to fail you, Booin yah...that you don't feel loved, that i don't treat you well...i do not mean to hurt you, my love.."

Onew closed his eyes, he felt like all his energy was draining out of him. Changmin's touches could do nothing to lift his mood.

"It's not your fault, only my destiny...I'm sorry for causing a ruckus in your court...i just..just..don't know what to do.."

Changmin swept Onew from the ground and carried him away from the court room, heading back to the Imperial chamber.

"Booin yah, have you visit the twins? i think they've already missed you. I'll have them to come soon, what do you say?" Changmin look at Onew. The smaller boy sighed softly, clearly wanted to rid off his tears by distracting himself.

The twins was already inside the Imperial room, placed in the baby cot by the bed. They looked very gorgeous, the most gorgeous baby Onew had laid his eyes upon.

He couldn't help but smiled admiring them. He took Jonghyun who was smaller than the other but looked like a lost puppy wanted to be hold.

He cradled his baby in his arms, kissed him, and giggled when he heard a whining sound of protest from his small lips.

"I miss you, guys. It's been days, isn't it?"

Changmin watched as his Booin played with their sons, there was no way to describe his happiness right now. The feeling of being complete, of being needed, of being loved, overflowing his senses. It was a feeling strong enough that he no longer felt any despair.

"You are truly gifted, booin yah...but the gifts are usually followed by a consequences, an equally big consequences as the gift itself."

The words dragged out from Changmin's lips, it seemed he didn't even realize what he had been saying. Onew looked at him, perplexed, but didn't say anything.

He played with both of his most treasured sons, an occasional giggle and laugh filled the room.

"I don't know what kind of feeling i have for you, Your Majesty. I know we are bonded and all, but that doesn't help to establish what i feel inside. And knowing how foul my destiny is, i feel like...like i'm doomed." A soft sigh came out from Onew's lips, they were so shaky and broken.

Changmin sat down on the grand sized bed, he had Minho in his arms, cutely pouting at him.

"It's my problem that i love you, Booin yah...i know what you've been through and i am truly sorry for everything that i caused you. Words can't describe what you mean to me. Despite everything, i selfishly wish you to stay with me as long as i live, because i need you. We need you. This country needs you."

Changmin's gaze was filled with love and adoration, but at the same time, determination. His words made Onew turned to look at him, at his warm gaze fell upon his Booin.

"Even in the light that i cannot give you the same feeling?"

A silent gap.

"Yes. It's enough for me to have you here."
