There inside the Grand room, Onew could see lavish dishes spread on the luxuriously decorated tables. His stomach started to growl instantly, protesting against the hunger pang he had been experiencing for a while.
And he sees him. A magnificent looking man with his imposing figure. Manliness oozing from every pore of his body, like a halo around him. He made Onew felt so small comparing to his majestic aura, he lowered his eyes to the floor to avoid contact with the man's penetrating eyes.
"Booin yah, come here. What are you doing, still standing there? quick join me and eat."
Onew frowned. Booin? who did he called so intimately? He was like calling his most beloved, his treasured wife. Has he lost his mind? But Onew cast the thought at bay, he was too starving to think of anything else.
The majestic guy seems to enjoy the scenery. His face wore a contented smile as he watched Onew stuffed a big chunk of fried chicken in front of him into his small mouth.
"Don't you want to eat as well, Your Majesty?" Onew asked with a puffy mouth. His eyes narrowed into cute line as he ate, and Changmin smiled at him tenderly.
"I'm full already. Please have your fill, Booin yah."
That call again. Changmin said it in low and soft tone, like a whisper from a lover.
"Why are you calling me that? i'm not your wife, Your Majesty."
"Booin yah, you're carrying our sons inside you, how come you're not my wife?" was the thought that crossed Changmin's mind, a pang of sadness bite into his heart.
"Can I tell you a story, Booin yah?" Changmin said warmly. His lips wore a sincere smile that reflected the adoration he carried inside.
Onew nodded, but didn't reply. His mouth was filled with food, his cheeks are puffy.
Changmin couldn't hide his chuckling sound, he had to cough to conceal it. How come a simple thing as to watch his booin eats could make him happy beyond anything? He felt so stupid.
"Once there was a boy who had to work hard all his life to prove his worth. He lived as if he was an only child, all of the Princes are, and worked hard to gain his father's favor. He didn't have many friends, and nobody ever cared about him because he was always second. But one day all the attention was brought to him by a simple command, that he had to ascend the throne from having a special ability that he didn't want anyone to know. He simply wanted to be loved....until the Elder took him to a mirroring spring and introduced him to his future mate, it was when he decided to give his heart a chance. He swore to celibacy until he could find the precious person, until one day, finally, that person was brought to him."
There was loneliness in those clear pond of eyes, Changmin looked at his Booin longingly.
"Although this person never loved him back, he never left him alone. The lonely Prince finally had the person whom he loved with all his heart, and it was enough just to have him by his side. But the Prince couldn't give him happiness, all he ever did was letting the one he loved most down. Tell me, Booin yah, what do you think about this story? he is such a pathetic person, isn't he?"
Changmin sighed softly. It's a good thing that Onew couldn't remember anything, so he can share what he has in mind, but in the same time his heart was tightened in sadness.
Onew stopped his eating. His innocent eyes gazed into Changmin's, frowning.
"Maybe all the Prince's need is time. His precious person could just need more time to comprehend his feeling towards the Prince, and if they take it slow maybe it will work for the both of them."
