Queen Solbi wonder what was on this beautiful young man's mind to make him smile a little, making him all the more easy on her eyes.

She had to admit that he was a very good choice. Jaejoong was a picky, he wouldn't choose something that wasn't good. Not even once. His son never dissapoint her, not even now.

She was shocked when Jaejoong told her about Onew. Even more when he told her all about him from A to Z. She planned, with every means, to kill him when she had the chance.

So she made the whole arrangement to meet him, knowing full well that Changmin doesn't have any choice but to let Onew go. What kind of man was Onew? how could he enchanted her proud son while he was already married with not only one, but two, most powerful men in the Empire? Not only that, he already had a twin princes who were heavily guarded by the royal guard. He must be some kind of a bitch, that's what she thought.

But it all changed when she saw the glimpse of a young boy, clad in a humble light warrior outfit, with a face dirtied by the dust from a long ride. He looked tired, yet his companions kept on insulting him. But he did nothing to punish them, not even trying to stop them.

As he washed his face with the water, she found out how beautiful he really was. Nothing about him was flawed. He was praying and lower his head to the floor, his long and soft hair fell like cascades of rainfall.

Then she knew, that they were not so different. He was her, a long time ago. Scared and lonely, wounded and battered, with no one to share their thoughts. Was it fair for him to have an experience like that? would anyone ever cared? She was lucky, she still had her family to come back to, but what about him? He was utterly alone, he has no family left.

Something in her heart thrummed with sadness over this young soul. He had a heavy burden on his shoulders, and she didn't want to add anymore of it. She sighed silently, and pat Onew's hand in a gentle manner.

"Choose carefully, young Empress..I don't want you to be burdened by any of this problem, but you have already inside the epicentrum of the earthquake. Anyway, this is the antidote of the drug i gave to Yunho. He always like this snack since he was young, my homemade yagwa*." Solbi Wangbi chuckled a little, remembering how Yunho used to steal her selfmade cookies.

Onew looked puzzled, but received it nonetheless. He smiled at her, feeling thankful that it was her who he had to encounter, not some burly and muscled warrior. He'll be dead by then.

"Mind to tell me why did you bother yourself by telling me all of this, Wangbi?"

The elder woman looked at the calm tide of the river, and as if to herself, she told him in a half whisper tone of voice.

"Because i could use that kind of help when i was young. Take care, young one. It's not easy, and looking at your visage, you can start a war between nations, not just ours. Be careful on your way home, alright?"

And with that, she walked away silently. Onew could only see, helplessly, as she slowly retreating, left him alone on the stillness of the time.

As he paced his mare to Yunho's tent, he was in a deep thoughts. There was no other way, he thought, it had to be like this. Other way, and he would start the war between nation.

His mind was elsewhere, and not paying attention to where he goes, when suddenly he realized that he wandered too far from his troop.

Where were they? They couldn't be too far away. How could they lose him? that imbecile guards...

He looked around frantically because alas, his navigation skills were almost zero. And the sun was setting just a moment ago, leaving him alone amidst the thick forest. He could feel the hair on his neck standing up in full alert.
