I refuse to call myself humane
I refuse to call myself a trait that points to others for the blame
A trait that carries blood on its hands with no regrets
A trait that protests with the "sweet delicacies" of threats
The trait that has become the thing that people fear most
Nothing other than themselves
When a heart becomes a ghost
Kindness is forgotten
People trample on souls
They're left screaming on the floor
Letting go of their life goals
So hard to reach for success
In a society that puts you down
Always wearing a smile
When inside there's a frown.
