Plot Summary: Tohru Honda lost her mother in a car crash when she came home from school one day, choosing to live with her grandfather for the time being. But all thanks to the unkind family there, Tohru left the house and now has nowhere to go. But decided to live by herself in a tent. One day, she find a tray of mochi in the chinese zodiacs outside of a traditional japanese house. Finding out that the house is owned by her popular classmate, Yuki and later meets Kyo and Yuki's cousin, Shigure.
Suggestions: I suggest this anime if you enjoy watching Alice Academy, Kamisama Hajimemashita, Ouran Highschool Host Club and Vampire Knight. The anime, Fruit Basket is a classic anime for beginners to watch. A comedy and romance anime with a twist of including chinese zodiacs. I suggest that if you enjoy the genres: fantasy, romance and comedy - drama then you might enjoy this anime. I recommend this anime for ages thirteen and over, but it's a family anime that will make you laugh.
