Plot Summary: Yona of the Dawn has a mix of Japanese, Chinese and Korean cultures in the storyline. The story is focused around Yona, a princess of Kingdom of Kouka. She lived a carefree live along with her Father; King II and her bodyguard and childhood friend; Son Hak. Yona had loved Soo-Won, who also happens to be her other childhood friend. He came to visit her on her sixteenth birthday, held at the kingdom. But he killed her father and took over the Kouka. Hak saved Yona and together they ran to Village of the Wind, his birthplace. As told by Hak's grandfather; Son Mundok. They must find an oracle named Ik-Soo, as he talks about the Legend of the First King of Kouka Hiryuu and the Four Dragon Warriors of the kingdom. Together, Yona and Hak are joined by Yoon; Ik-Soo's assistant. Start their journey to search for the descendants of the Four Dragon Warriors to live and save the kingdom of Kouka.
Suggestions: I suggest this anime if you enjoyed watching Snow White with Red Hair, Romeo x Juliet, The Seven Deadly Sins, Berserk and Sengoku Blood Night. I also suggest that if you are a fan of romance, fantasy, adventure and action then you might enjoy this anime! I recommend this anime for thirteen and over because this anime can get violent.
