TJ was stressed. His body was aching and covered in bruises, his ribs hurt from the admittedly excellent roundhouse kick he had received, and worst of all, Lena was keeping him at the police station late to write a full report about what had happened on Dexter Avenue.
TJ wanted to go to sleep. He wanted to be back at his warm, safe flat, maybe with some hot chocolate and to cuddle with Klaus on the sofa. But being the idiot he was, he had got to Dexter Avenue by flying, and he had left his bike, the only way back home, at the flat.
He had stopped working entirely, just staring at the papers in front of him, daydreaming about the night before.

The night before
TJ walked into the living room. In his hands were a pair of mugs of tea, which he placed down gently on the counter, before turning to the boy who was lying on the sofa. Klaus always looked cute when he slept, and TJ smiled at the boy lightly.
Carefully, he leaned forward and brushed his lips softly on the other's forehead. Klaus woke up slightly, a small smile on his lips as he opened his arm for TJ to curl up with him. He pressed a kiss on the nape of TJ's neck. TJ turned and kissed Klaus's lips, feeling the other boy grin against his mouth, his hands creeping down his chest to his hips, pulling him closer till their bodies were flushed together.
It was a beautiful night.

He yawned loudly. Lena looked up from the the other side of the desk in her office.
"Hey Tobes, there's a room down the hall where you can sleep while I finish up." She offered. TJ looked up at the girl.
"Will you be here all night?" He asked. Lena nodded.
"Yeah, that incident means a tonne of paperwork." She said, her voice laced with tired amusement and annoyance. TJ rubbed his eyes.
"Ok, I'll text a Klaus, then I'm off." So he took out his phone.
To: ❤️ Klaus ❤️
Hey baby
I'm spending the night at Len's house
Luv ya boo
He then went to the room, lay down and immediately fell asleep.
The next morning, TJ returned to the flat. He was sleepy, aching and in dire need of Klaus.
But what he got was everything but.
The entire flat was trashed. The sofa was upturned, the tv had a large hole punched through it, the book shelf was tipped over, its contents scattered across the floor. TJ could feel his panic bubbling in his stomach as he looked around the room.
"Klaus?" He shouted, his voice laced with fear.
There was no answer.
TJ carefully picked his way to Klaus's bedroom, his fingers crossed that the raven haired boy would be in there. Opening the door, he found the room deserted, the bed untidy in the way that said he had got out of bed voluntarily.
He looked around, and noticed something on the desk. A piece of paper with scribbled words on it.
"TJ. Wolf Head gang members are in the flat. In case something happens to me, I love you."
Once again, panic took him over.
TJ grabbed his phone and dialled Klaus's number. It rang for a few moments before someone answered.
"Klaus, baby where are you!" He almost yelled into the phone. He could feel tears leaking down his cheeks, his hands trembling.
The voice that laughed lightly through the phone wasn't Klaus's.
TJ's blood ran cold.
"Aw, how cute. Klaus, it seems your little boyfriend is worried!" The voice said. TJ's eyes widened.
"What?" He stuttered. The man on the other end of the call laughed.
"I didn't know you had a lover, Klaus." The voice said, laced heavily with sadistic amusement. TJ ran to his room, the phone still at his ear.
"Don't you dare hurt him." He shouted angrily. The other man laughed again.
"Oh trust me. It's too late for that." The person said, chuckling. TJ started putting on his Red Hawk suit, opting to put the phone on speaker.
"Where are you!"
The other man let out another laugh. TJ knew he was enjoying this.
"How about Klaus tells you?" And the voice disappeared. TJ listened carefully for any noises that might tell his where the guy was. From the echo of the guy's footsteps, it sounded like he was walking in a large room. The footsteps stopped.
"Klaus?" TJ whispered, his voice shook slightly.
"T...TJ." Klaus's voice was horse and broken, used and laced with wetness, as if there was blood in his mouth.
"Please baby, where are you?" He could hear Klaus whimper slightly.
"I... I don't know. Some k... kind of warehouse." Klaus stuttered. TJ nodded, trying to keep his voice gentle.
"Are there any windows? Can you see any buildings outside." He questioned hurriedly. Klaus coughed loudly, a sound that made TJ's blood run cold from the wet sound of red.
They had hurt him. Badly.
"I saw a road sign. Leeway-" Klaus's voice was suddenly let out a scream that chilled TJ to the bone, that was suddenly cut off.
"Klaus? Klaus! Answer me!" TJ's screamed. His voice broke, tears running down his face as he sobbed.
"Someone said a little too much! Though, it's very cute that you're so worried for him. Don't worry, I only knocked him out again, he'll wake up."
"Please. Let him go." TJ begged. The other man chuckled.
"Not likely." And with that, the other man hung up.
TJ staggered. His legs had gone limp and he felt his knees buckle as he fell to the floor. Tears were running down his face as he shook; broken sobs falling from his mouth.
He heard the door open.
"Tobes? Holy shit what happened? TOBY!" It was Lena.
"I'm here." TJ choked out. Lena ran in, TJ's jumper on her arm. He must have left it at the police station.
"What happened?" TJ looked up at Lena.
"They took Klaus. The Wolf Heads took Klaus."
(A/N: That was actually so fun to write. Reason #163 of why I'm a sadist.)
