"You... you love me?" He asked, unsure. Klaus nodded, smiling lightly.
"I think I have for a while." He confesses. TJ looked surprised, and Klaus thought in that moment maybe TJ didn't love him back.
As he turned to leave however, he felt a tug on the back of his jumper. He turned to see the blond smiling.
"Klaus. I think I love you too." He said, smiling softly. Klaus let out the breath he didn't realise he had been holding, and smiled back at TJ.
Slowly, he leaned down towards TJ, and the other boy pushed himself up towards Klaus. Their lips slotted together like puzzle pieces, and both boys felt sparks fly between them. Klaus smiled into the kiss as he heard the heart monitor increase slightly.
Reluctantly, the raven pulled back slightly.
"TJ, what would you say if I asked you to be my boyfriend?" TJ laughed lightly.
"Yes, you idiot." And he snaked his arms around Klaus's neck, and pulled him in for another kiss.
In the corridor, Lena peered through the glass of TJ's hospital room.
"Finally." She said quietly, smiling.

Three days later, TJ was released from hospital. Klaus had stayed with TJ every day after they became a couple, Lena visiting every day but mainly chatting up Jess, the doctor she had met when TJ was admitted.
When TJ was back at the flat, his arm bound beneath his ribs, Klaus continued to look after him, collecting his boyfriend's coursework from the university, feeding him, and making sure he was never in any pain. He even pretended he had the flu just so he could stay at the apartment with TJ. Though TJ would never admit it, he loved the attention he was getting from the other boy.
Weeks later, TJ was finally healed. The two started to go back to uni, and for a while, everything was amazing. Coffee shop dates every weekend, sometimes joined by Lena and Jess, and spending as much time together as possible.
It was peaceful and beautiful.
But then it ended.
"Hey Teacup, I'm heading out to get fabric, I'll be out for a while." TJ nodded, too concentrated on his work to look up. Klaus nipped round the table, brushed his lips lightly on TJ's forehead, and headed out.
TJ, on the other hand, froze. Why did that kiss feel so familiar? As he tried to remember, TJ switched on the TV but barely watching it. He just needed the background noise while Klaus wasn't there.
Hours later, TJ was in the kitchen working on a soup recipe when his phone went off.
"Kraken 14 RED HORNET"
Kraken: Crime: Terrorist/Gang attack
14: Location - Dexter Avenue
RED: involves explosives
HORNET: hostages
Kraken 14 RED HORNET: Attack, Dexter Avenue, involves explosives, hostages
TJ turned the radio on quickly while he started grabbing his Red Hawk suit.
"We are now coming to you live from the sidelines of the chaos in Dexter Avenue, the city centre of banks and financial companies, where the biggest heist of the decade is happening directly behind us..."
TJ sprinted to the living room, and turned up the radio as he started putting on his suit.
"It is suspected that the Wolf Heads, a violent gang from New Franco, set off a bomb outside the Aston Bank, the most prestigious bank in the country, and are demanding a cash sum of five billion for the life of a group of up to thirty hostages, some being college students-"
TJ froze. Klaus used the Aston Bank. He should be there. He got his phone and tried to call his boyfriend.
The phone went straight to answer phone.
TJ sped up what he was doing.
"It is suspected that Machiavellian, notorious hired assassin and nemesis of the Red Hawk, police hired hero, is involved with the Wolf Head's attack."
TJ could feel his blood boil. If Machiavellian had hurt Klaus, TJ would personally tear the assassin apart, wether he owed the villain his life or not.
