That was a long title...
Okay. I was tagged by NoctusFury to do this, so here it goes....
Write ten things about yourself.
Ten things about me, that you may or may not know:
1. I enjoy archery and horseback riding, and am moderately good at both. I also love art, music, dancing (though I suck at it), and photography.
2. I have a strange, sarcastic sense of humor. I kind of play Devil's advocate at times, but don't get upset! Just let me know you don't think it's funny, and I won't do it. It's just me being silly. I'm not trying to be mean.
3. I love to eat! It might be weird, but I can put away a rather significant amount of food when I want to, and I'm almost always ready to eat something. Some of my favorite foods are chocolate, steak, cheeseburgers, brownies, pizza (homemade), spaghetti, and beef stew.
4. Someday, I want to visit Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and England. I also want to see Eastern Montana. However, that said, I am super picky about my landscapes. Once, driving thought Western Washington, I had a breakdown and started crying, because I hated it so much.
5. I love acting! I have been in two stage plays, as supporting roles, and I LOVED it! I hope to someday act in movies, and my dream come true would be to play as Lutien, Idril Silverfoot, or Melian in an adaption of the Silmarillion. Or as the Maeglin's mother. (I can't remember her name.) I also would love to meet some of the actors and actresses who played in the lotr and Hobbit movies.
6. I was introduced to Tolkien's world in a rather odd way.
My mom and sister were going to watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy, which they had rented, and I was allowed to watch, as well. We watched the movies, and my sister and I loved them so much, that when mom went to return them and saw the Hobbit--which she had seen the first two--she rented those for us to see.
However, as luck would have it, they only had the first and the third Hobbit movies. We watched the first one without realizing that it was a trilogy, and we were missing the middle. We realized, however, when we started the third one, so we decided to stop and wait until we found the second.
But my intrest had been piqued. I wanted to know what happened, so I went to the local library, and borrowed the Hobbit. I read the book (in a total of three days) as did two of my sisters.
Then, when it was time to return the book, my mom stopped at the bookstore and bought the Lord of the Rings book trilogy. So, I read them, and loved them.
One thing lead to another, and I have now read the Silmarillion, watched the extended Hobbit and own the extended Lord of the Rings.
Yeah, I know. That was way too long.
7. I'm a Christian, but I don't really have a denomination that I fit into. I kind of just try to take the Bible for what it says.
8. I have read too many English novels! I keep wanting to spell things the English way. :P
I love the sound of English, Scottish, Irish, and Austrailian accents. I could listen do people who talk like that all day.
Oh, yeah. I'm American.
9. I'm homeschooled, and very sheltered. I wouldn't say I'm easily angered by vulgar talk and behavior, but I am definitely easily shocked and upset. I might not be really mad, but I will feel...almost violated. Is that a bad thing?
