 There has been multiple attempts to assassinate Erwin Smith within the passed few months. And there has been a increase in security around Erwin. And Levi has been placed as his right hand man. The one person that will protecting 24/7. Hanji thought it would be appropriate since Erwin and Levi are Romantically involved and Levi was the perfect person to protect Erwin. And the fact that Levi would kill anyone else from being that close to the man he loved, there was no other choice.

It was supper at the Survey corps base. Erwin was doing his paperwork like he always does. Levi was preparing dinner in the other room making sure that Erwin was within his line of sight. Erwin was opening a letter when he got a small paper cut. "Agh" he hissed placing the wound into his mouth. Levi was in the room within seconds. "What happened?" He asked. Erwin smiles at the ravenette, "Just a paper cut, dont worry about it." Levi nods and goes back to cooking. The letter was from the high ups from the Survey Corps, apparently there was a dinner that Erwin was expected to go to in a few days. All the commanders and the best soldiers were invited. Levi walks into the office dinner in hand, he places it infront of Erwin. "I'm still surprised that you know how to cook." erwin smirks 'tsk' Levi says in response sitting across from Erwin. "Who was the letter from?" Levi asks, Erwin looks up "It was from the head of the Survey corps we are invited to a Dinner." Levi's eye narrow "That seems to be to good of timeing. What if the assassin is there?" Erwin looks into Levi's eyes, "Then I expect you to protect me." He says eating the rest of his supper.

~Time Skip to the Dinner~

Erwin and Levi walk into the home of the head of the survey corps. The other commanders are all there. And some of the highest ranked soldiers as well as some nobility. Erwin ways through the crowd finding Hanji Zoe and starts a conversation. Levi on the other hand wanders around the room. Finding a column to lean up against he watches keeping his eyes on Erwin the whole time. Watching the whole room and every person, that is except the person behind him. A man in black comes up behind levi and places a handkerchief around his mouth and nose. Levi didn't have the chance to fight back.

Erwin looks around him searching for Levi when a pair of men come before him. "Commander Erwin Smith?" Erwin nods, "yes who are you?" The 2 men straighten up "My name is John and this is my brother Henry. We are apart of the Military Police." Erwin nods "What do you need?" The men smile "We would like you to come with us."

~LEVI's POV~

I slowly open my eyes to see that I'm in some sort of room, Im kneeling. I attempt to move my hand but there tied. "You can't escape." I look up "Who are you?" I ask. My voice is calm cool and collected. "Oh you don't know me Levi. But I know you." He walks into the light. He was a younger man about 20 years old. His hair is a dark brown and his eyes hazel. "What do you want?" I ask again. He smirks at me, "What do I want um, I want you" He looks me in the eyes. I smirk at this comment "And what makes you think that you can have me?" He bends down to me "Because I will kill the man you love if you don't"

~Meanwhile~

"So what you're saying is that I'm not the assassins target?" John nods. "Yes. It was Levi Ackerman that the Assassin wanted to kill." Erwin is pacing around the room. "This assassin is called the widow. He has killed before and targets people that are of high status but in this case their might be more to it." Henry adds. Now in a panic knowing that Levi is missing and that he isn't there to stop him. "We have reason to believe that the assassin is someone from Ackerman's past." Henry adds. Erwin stops pacing and looks John in the eyes "Do we know where to find them?" John shakes his head "We can guess but-" he is cut off "Where do you think he is!" Erwin says his voice is serious and laced with worry. Henry stands up and grabs a map of the Underground and points to a spot "Here. This is where some of our soldiers have last seen this assassin." Erwin nods and walks out of the room "Hanji get all available soldiers were going to find Levi."

~Back to Levi, a few days have passed~

Levi is not in good shape. He is being starved and is only granted a little bit of water. He is losing weight and the Widow keeps injecting him with something. The only thing he knows is that he is in the basement of wherever he is. Levi's wrists are raw from trying to get loose. His knees cracked from being on them for so long. The widow walks into the room. "Why are you doing this...who are you." Levi asks. The man looks at Levi and whispers something into Levi's ears. Levi's eyes widen "No that's impossible" the widow stand in front of him looking him in the eyes "Today is the day captain" Widow says. Levi looks up at him, and tries to get away but, there was nothing he could do he was given something. A loud band came from upstairs, "We have guests." The widow walks upstairs.

Erwin and Hanji bang on the door again and again until a young man appears in the doorway. Erwin pushes himself into the home "Well come in." The man says "Where is he" Erwin's voice is low and threatening "I don't know what you mean." Erwin grabs his collar "Don't play dumb. Where is Levi?" The man looks Erwin in the face "Ah I see now...You're in love with him." Erwin drops the man and points a sword to his neck "Where is Levi Ackerman." Anger in his eyes. The man looks Erwin up and down holding his arms up. "He's downstairs but i'm afraid that you are to late." Erwin glares into the man's eyes. "Hanji" She nods and goes into the basement leaving Erwin with the man. "So help me god. If you harmed him you're going to pay for it with your life." The man smiles.

Hanji walks into the basement. It's dark and it reeked of blood and sweat. She grabs a candle and keeps walking down the hall, there was only one door, she opens it slowly to see a small form on the floor. Walking slowly she goes to the form she doesn't recognize it at first but then she realized "Levi?!" The form flinches to his name. Hanji runs to his side he is drenched in sweat. His breathing is heavy. "ERWIN! Hold on Levi we're here now." Hanji attempts to help to form, undoing the rope around his wrists. He falls into her arms and she tries to carry him out of the room, Levi's arm over her neck and her hand wrapped around his waist.

"ERWIN!" he hears the female scream. The widow laughs maniacally. Erwin puts his sword closer to the man's neck. He looks to the Hanji who was carrying Levi. Erwin is filled with anger and pushes the sword into the man's neck, "I wouldn't do that commander." Erwin looks at him "and why is that?" the widow smiles a sort of smile that would give you nightmares "Because I am the only person who can save him."
