It was not any different. I went to lunch and was about to sit alone. I opened my paper bag and saw Ella coming my way.
“Ella!” I exclaimed.
"That's my name. Don't wear it out." Ella smiled sarcastically. I heard two more trays clank.
Jennica and Jasmine.
"Hey girls." Ella frowned a bit. Jake and Sadie came over to our table.
"Hey nerds." Jake scoffed, looking directly at me. "How do your elbows feel, Agnes?"
"..uh.."
"Hey stop it!" Matt demanded. "Agnes never did anything to you! So back off of her!"
I saw Freddie in the back. Our eyes locked for a second. I looked away, to Jasmine as Jake sighed and walked away.
"Hey Jas, are you going to be here tomorrow?" I asked.
"Yes, but I'm getting sorted into lunch group B."
"Same." Jennica sighed, setting down her sketchbook. She's been working on something for the past two hours now. I don't know what it is n
"Yeah, me too." Ella looked angry. "But hey at least we can hang in PE."
"Yeah. PE. That class.." I shuddered.
