Pure darkness is all she saw
As she was awoken by the screams of silence
Sliding on her second-hand converse
And clibing onto the roof ready to come face-to-face with the world.Through blurred vision and stinging cheeks
She just stared into the endless cosmic universe
And it all flashed
Right before her eyesHer life was made up of nothing but
Bomb blastings and melting iceburgs
Starving souls, thirsty conifers in the center of a once healthy planet
Those were her surroundings.Through the eyes of all the toddlers who let their
Heart-shaped balloons into the sky
And the male figures whose fetish so strong
That their innocent victims could not remain untouched.Way up there, there is nothing but peace
No bombs, no hunger
Just exploding colous, stars and galaxies
Up there, the silence is worthwhile.Major part of her longed to be out there
Up in the clouds
It was just like heaven
HarmonicBut there are always the downsides of living
A life on the outside
Above the ground, where gravity is neutral
One concernOther than the stars and the galaxies
She wondered
Is there such thing
As sunsets, in heaven?
