I met her in September. She seemed a lot different than she really was from the website. She took me by surprise. I didn't know that I would end up liking her so much. The back of her head was always tidily shaved with the top longer, and her posture, although slightly hunched, so god damn sexy. She was definitely not one you would find every day. Her white teeth shined through the space between her lips when she smiled. And god, that smile. It was one that could brighten up your day in seconds. The way she talked wasn't your average female bubbly squeaky voice, it was quite deep, the type of deep that sounded as if it were "put on" in one way or another, until you got used to it. Once you had got used to it, it was music to your ears. I believe it was mostly the things she said, come to think about it. Most of our conversations took place in the dark, not intended to be in any way romantic, but also not intended to be in any way depressing. We just both shared a preference towards the starry night sky rather than the day-time sky. It is therefore undoubtable that countless of our conversations were actually about the sky. The last time I spoke to her properly was on a walkway by the sea. The sea was wavy that evening, it was windy. Her sister was there too, but we were lucky enough to be left alone for a while. That's when we spoke about the stars, the sky, the universe. Usually not the type of thing girls talk to each other about, but to us it felt completely normal. I felt comfortable there. I felt safe. I felt emotions that I never thought I would, emotions that no words can explain. It was simply magical. And that's the story about the girl who taught me the sky.
