Undercover

Chapter 1

* POV Alexis King *

"Alexis, I'm not saying it again," my father shouts from above. ''Clean up the mess downstairs!'' I feel anger in my bubble. ''You do not need to swear that much!'' I say in myself. 

Now I also have to clean up their mess. I walk to the kitchen with clenched fists. There is a lot of dishes on the counter and everything is dirty. 

After an hour I am finally done cleaning up. I quickly run to my room. 5 missed calls from Izzy. I'll call her back soon. Izz and I consider each other just like sisters, we are often together and tell each other everything. But we do not look alike at all. With my blue eyes and blond hair, I am the opposite of Izz, who has brown eyes and black hair.

"Hey, Izz."

"Why didn't you answer? I've been trying to call you a thousand times!" She says annoyed.

"I have problems at home. You know, parents." It's quiet for a few seconds on the other side.

''Yep, fortunately my parents are not that strict. I can do everything I want." She says cheerfully.

''You do not have to rub it in,'' I say angrily. "Sorry, I'm just angry with my parents."

''Understandable. But, you can not do anything about it. Oh, by the way, I just wanted to go to the city tomorrow. You know, Friday afternoon, school just ended. Then we can eat at the Mac or something and then you're not home for a while." She says.

''Yes! That's a really good idea Izz!''

''I know, I'm just a genius'', we laugh together. "Well, I'll see you at school tomorrow, don't forget to bring money." The smile on my face disappears right away.

''Uhm, I don't know if I can come with you. I have no money. My parents aren't giving me money."

''Huh'', says Izzy incomprehensibly. "Your brother does have money? I always see him walking away from school during the break, he always comes back with a hamburger.''

''Yes, that fat pig one is really the favorite of my parents.''

She laughs, ''I always have to laugh when you call your own brother, Dane, the fat pig. I will take some extra money with me. Bye, I really have to go now."

''Thanks, babe!''

"You're welcome!" She says before hanging.
