Chapter 6

* POV Zac *

I gently close the door behind me. ''Zac, could you come?'' Seth, my boss and at the same time my father, says. I walk to his office and sit on the chair in front of his desk. ''How is she doing? I have heard from Colin that she has something with her foot."

"She misstepped. I've put a bandage on it."

He nods approvingly. "What do you think of her?"

I look up the question, I did not see it coming. ''Beautiful, kind, caring.''

"So you like her?"

''That is very quickly said, I only know her for a day.''

''Be honest Zac, I know you believe in love at first sight.''

I sigh. "Maybe, but it's hard with her. She is very closed.''

"Do you have any idea why?"

"You're completely questioning me about her."

"Yes, I just need to know who she is. So, do you have any idea how it is that she is so closed?"

"Yes, maybe it can come because she does not have a house. But I think there is more behind her. "

"I'll call her with me tomorrow," he says. "And how did it go with Davy Neville?"

"He was in the house."

"Okay, good." We're both quiet for a moment.

''I'll see you tomorrow.'' I finally say.

"I'll send Joey tomorrow to get Alexis and bring it to me."

"Okay." But deep inside my heart, I don't think 'okay', I want to be the one that leads her to my father, not Joey. Then I would be able to see her again. Because that is the only thing I now desire. 

I walk out of his office to the living room. On the way, I pass Alexis's room. "Sleep well," I whisper softly. 

All my brothers my are in the living room, Colin, Joey, and Logan. "Who is the new girl?" Colin asks when he sees me.

''Alexis King from the New York.''

"You know how to get them from far away."

I laugh, "You do not have anyone, so shut your mouth."

''Have you already claimed her? She is beautiful."

''No, nobody has claimed it and that will not happen.''

"If you have not claimed her, I will do it."

"No one is going to claim her," Seth says as he enters. "Let her choose herself. She is old and wise enough. "

"How old is she then?" Joey asks.

''17, she will be 18 in a little more than a month.' '

"How do you know all that?" I ask him.

"I only need to show a picture to the hackers and they know everything her. Alexis King is 17 years old and lived with her parents. According to the hackers, she still lives there. "

"She said she doesn't have a house."

''Well, then it makes sense that she walked away.''

''Yes, that would be logical.''

"She's special," Logan says suddenly.

"Yes, she sure is. But bye, I'm suffering from a huge Jetlag." I quietly walk back to my room and decide to go to bed right away.
