* POV Zac *

I open my eyes, but I can't see anything. It's dark. I hastily search for my phone that makes a lot of noise. It is half past five in the morning. My eyes are still half closed when I hear a door close silently. I know it's Alexis. Footsteps on the corridor are getting closer and the door of my room opens slowly. She is standing in the doorway.

''Already awake?'' She asks quietly.

''Yes, you do not look tired at all,'' I say with a sight.

"No, I'm looking forward to it. So stand up."

I smile. "Okay, I'll come downstairs in a sec." She closes the door again. Slowly I get up and rub my eyes. I put on my sportswear and walk downstairs. Alexis is already having breakfast and looks at the view.

The lights from Los Angeles are visible, it's wonderful. I see that she also has all her sportswear on. I put my hand on her shoulder. She smiles at me. "Nice view, right?" I ask.

"Yes, it's beautiful." I walk to the kitchen and prepare a sandwich. At five o'clock we stand in front of the house.

It is cold outside but that is also nice. We walk on firmly. After a little less than an hour, we are finally on the spot that I have chosen.

We're sitting close to each other on the grass. She grabs my hand nonchalantly. I look at her beautiful face. Her hair is dancing in the wind. She looks happy. Slowly a piece of the sun emerges. The light shimmers in her eyes. She turns to me. ''A friend of mine always said: turn your face to the sun and the shadows will fall behind you.''

''That's beautiful.''

''Yes, I always remembered it.'' She says thoughtfully. I gently squeeze her hand. She runs her hand through my hair and comes closer. Our heads move towards each other and our lips touch each other. A nerve goes through my body.

If this depends on me, this could go on for hours. She looks deep into my eyes and lets her head rest on my shoulder. The sun has already risen and it is easy to see that Los Angeles is waking up. "I think we should go back. We still have a lot to do today." I say. She nods.

We get up and run towards the house. We're both out of breath when we are back. Less than a minute later, a car arrives. A man gets out. There is surveillance around him. "Are you Zac Crowe?" The man asks.

''Yes, do you have the money?'' I say.

"Yes." The man shows a silver suitcase.

"I'm going to get it." I walk in and get the gun.

"Can I buy this beauty?" The man asks if I'm back outside.

I smile. ''No.''

''I'll pay 70 million.''

''No, we do not deal in people,'' I say, louder than before.

"Oh, that's a shame." He says. Alexis looks at him angrily and murmurs something. I hand over the weapon to the man, he gives me the case. I open it. There are all notes of 50 dollars. I close the case again.

"Hopefully until another time," I say. The man drives away again. Alexis and I walk inside.

''Who was that?'' She asks.

"Just a man who was going to buy a weapon."

She laughs. "Just a man."

''They will come here more often.''

"But why did he ask if I was for sale?"

"Because you're beautiful," I say. She looks at me and clearly didn't expect me to answer it that way.

"Thank you." She says flattered. She gives me a kiss on my forehead. She must stand on her toes for that. I smile. She's so sweet.
