No One's POV

The clock struck 5.30pm, and the bell rang an annoying chime throughout the school body. Detention was over and every student and teacher is to leave the school grounds by 6.

Doris, the 'Detention Keeper' as her colleagues call her, stood up from her slumber and grunted at the small group of kids in the room with her.

"You're dismissed." She spoke curtly before exiting the room quick as lightning. The kids in detention followed her in suit, relieved that they were freed from school.

Soon, it was left with two kids in the room, a girl who was packing up her things and a boy who was waiting patiently for her.

The girl, Alana, who had her light hazel hair tied into a bun, was taking a suspiciously long time of stuffing her lyric book in her bag, fussing silently that it would get crumpled if she forced it in.

The boy, Grimm, with his shaggy ebony hair falling carelessly on his forehead, merely sighed at the hazel-haired girl, grinning at her attempted to get the book in her bag. The scene looked exceedingly cute to him.

With a triumphed gasp, Alana successfully stuffed her book into her bag. It was a ruse apparently. She wanted to linger longer to ensure everyone in school is safely out so as to avoid people seeing her walking home with Grimm.

She stood up and grinned triumphedly to herself before walking to Grimm's side.

"You ready now, prick?" Grimm asked, smirk at the corner of his lips.

She rolled her eyes at him. "I'm ready."

With that, the two headed out of the classroom.

The walk was eerily silent and awkward as they exited the building, Alana felt completely uncomfortable. Bur she brought this upon herself so she's the one to blame for the awkward walk home.

It's not like I had a choice. Grimm was this close to blowing up. Wonder what the deal is with him and Jeff.

They walked side by side together on the pavement, the distance between their shoulders suspiciously apart. Alana had her body scrunched up inwards, slightly shy. The reason as to why escaped her though.

A low rumble of thunder was heard and immediately the two glanced up to the sky. Grey omnimous thunder clouds was present and slight anxiety filled Alana. She'd hate to be caught in the rain and turned to Grimm.

"We should quickly head on back. I don't want to get wet." Alana reasoned.

"Fine by me." Grimm answered and took a turn towards the alleyway.

Almost immediately, Alana halted in her tracks and her heart started to sped up. Her palms fisted together, feeling clammy with sweat and she found herself taking shallow breaths.

Noticing the girl was no longer by his side, Grimm turned to find Alana standing and rooted on the spot. He frowned.

"What's the hold up, prick?"

Alana shuddered at the sight of the alleyway. Memories of her near rape experience started to flood her mind and she staggered backwards. She was still afraid of that place and the sick feeling in her stomach threathened to make its appearance.

"I-I wanna take the long way." Alana muttered.

Grimm cocked his head to one side. He approached her side, "You sure? We might be caught in the rain if we don't get you home fast enough."

"I'm sure," Alana reaffirmed her decision. Her eyes flitted to the alleyway and then back at him. "I don't want to walk that way. Not yet at least."
