I woke up with a very weird feeling down my spine and a stinging headache. My bones ached as I sat up to stretch and felt my forehead. It felt a little bit warm and I'm left with the feeling that maybe sleeping with the air conditioner on full blast wasn't such a good idea.

Usually on those days, I'd skip school and just stayed at home but I didn't felt like being irresposible. I got ready for school as per usual and ignored the weird feeling as I started the day.

Hours passed and so far so good but I felt my eyes burning a bit. I shook it off and caught glances from people as I walked to my class, which I guessed was inevitable. Most of them saw what happened during lunch break yesterday but I've known to ignore their smirks and stares.

They're not worth two shits to me.

Surprisingly, all the classes where I shared the lessons with Grimm were left undisturbed. Which I find very unusual. Grimm would usually threw paperballs at my table or stapled my text book pages together when I headed to the loo but he didn't do it.

He wasn't doing anything.

I stole a glance as sneakily as I could to the back of the class where Grimm sat. The dude who threw the mashed potato at me was sharing a dramatic joke with his group and they were all paying attention to him except for Grimm.

He had the same look on his face as yesterday. He had a frown, his arms crossed tightly and he stared down to his table as though he was thinking really hard on something.

What that something was, I don't know and I don't care. I felt happy enough that he wasn't being a nuisance and disrupting the class again.

School whizzed by quickly and I was putting books in my locker before heading to detention again. I had 2 days left to go before I was 'free'. Or 'free' as I'll ever be.

"Hey." Ben's voice called out from behind me and I turned. He had a frown on his face too it seems and his eyes traveled to my bandaged arm. "What happened?"

I looked down and pulled a half smile. "Accident."

"Mmhm. Tell me about it." He said in his serious voice. Ugh, I hated it when he used that voice.

I turned back to my locker, not keeping eye contact. "I-I accidentally tripped." I lied. I need to work on my excuses.

Ben obviously didn't buy it as he leaned on the locker with his arms crossed. "You tripped. And I'm suppose to believe that lie?"

"I'm not lying, goddammit!" I turned my head to him.

He raised his eyebrow. "Oh, what did you trip on then?"

"Mash potatoes," I snapped, voice sharp. "Okay, I tripped on mash potatoes."

The bell rang across the hall, signaling a half hour passed since the school day ended. I looked at my wristwatch. "I don't have time for this, okay Ben? I need to get to detention."

I turned to walk away and was slightly surprised and a little saddened that he didn't stopped me. He usually did that whenever he felt that the conversation wasn't over. But whatever. I didn't have time to start thinking about it, what with what happened yesterday. I was still exhausted over it.

I gave my slip to Doris again and she nodded her head at my arm.

"Banged up?" She asked, though it felt more like a statement.

I raised my hand, glancing at it. "It was from yesterday." I muttered.

She pulled a mild surprised look before going back to reading her magazine. "Didn't realised it." She stated.
