I trudged myself back home, my feet shuffling the pavement noisily. My symptoms were coming in faster and I have a feeling my body won't let up. I needed to get home fast.
I turned to the shortcut. I walk through the alleyway path but I failed to notice a couple of shady people at the end of it, smoking a joint.
I took a deep breath and continued to walk. They caught me walking towards them when I was halfway through the alleyway. I could see them smiling sinisterly at me.
"Hey baby! All alone are we?" One of them spoke, his voice coarse like sandpaper. He spit at the side as he approached me, his two other friends following behind him.
I ignored thema and continued walking. My breathing was shallowed now as I panted for air. They blocked my way, eyes glinting with sick intent.
"Move." I whispered softly.
"I don't think so. How about having a drink with me and my friends?" He grabbed my shoulders. "We'll show you a funtime." His friends laughed at that.
My heart thumped. This is bad. I can't outrun them and I can't defend myself. My head's spinning too much for me from just standing.
"N-No. Please move." I whispered and shook off his hands from my shoulders.
He wasn't happy about that. He gave a smile to his friends.
"Let's skip to the fun part."
Before I could understand what he meant, his two friends grabbed a hold of both my arms and shoved me to the wall. The force winded me. I felt like a rag doll being thrown.
"No! Stop-mmf!" One of them covered my mouth as the man started touching my clothes, fiercely trying to pull them apart.
I struggled, tears rolling down my tears out of fear. Desperate, I bit the hand that covered my mouth, hard.
"Oww!! The bitch bit me!" The man snarled and I quickly shook off his hand from me and made a break for it. I barely took 2 metres from them when I was tackled to the ground. I panicked, my eyes fogging up with white spots.
"S-Stop, please!" I muttered under my breath as I felt hands crawling and groping my skin. It felt sick and disgusting. I cried hard, too weak from fever to defend myself.
"GET OFF HER!!" A young voice yelled and I heard a punch to a face. A groan and someone tumbled to the ground.
The groping stopped as the men helped out their friend. I heard shuffling of feet and punches being thrown about. I curled up in a ball, hands to my ears. I was crying still, feeling so violated by them.
"Let's bail!" The man that groped me cried and I heard running of feet. It distanted and I felt scared again. What if this new person starts to finish what has started?
The person approached me and I cowered, whimpering away. I was sobbing uncontrollably and my body was shaking like a leaf.
A hand reached out and I shivered when it touched me.
"You alright, prick?"
My eyes widened. I slowly looked up to my saviour.
Grimm was kneeling in front of me, a small smile on his lips. He had a black eye and his lower lip was bloodied. "I asked. Are you alright?" He repeated himself, his voice completely different from when we were at school. It was soft, gentle and genuinely concerned.
I didn't answer him, I couldn't. I fell into shock as I sat there frozen. He pulled a tight lipped smile before blanketing my body with his jacket.
