scene xi wretched existence
my soul is burning, but i'm smiling bad choices i've been making unsure if i'm lying.
blinded by the pain deaf to the screams, here we go again drowning in my tears, multiplying fears; i am but alive and living in this wretched life.
living in a world unable to change, drowning in a life where i can't escape, imprisoned in this wretched existence, like a bird in a cage; wings clipped, can't you see that my freedom has been stripped? bounded hands and eyes wide open, forced to see this reality unfold where there's no certainty and morality of victory my heart desires for.
lips sewn shut unable to voice my thoughts, so they run wild in my head, it's mess, you see, i'm unable to think straight and all that's left in my wake is but chaos; and i'm helpless and shattered, bound to this wretched life; the isolation has left me weak, unable to fight, my aching fists ache for a fight.
laying helpless surrounded by the world the truth has never been so bleak, i have yet to except the fate that is to be faced; burning shackles searing into my flesh, my bones rattle; blinded by the pain, i am but deaf to the torture and pain.
the unfathomable past of strife where it had led me to this life, hands that had been tainted red; the monster born inside of me, trying to wish for paradise yet i remain corrupt, my body is is paralysed, but i'm still searching for a way out.
foreign voices are but my own, unknown scratches from own claws, the sins that i have to pay for, a life stuck in hell, whatever else could i wish for?

author's note. listened to the english version of unravel and fell in love with the translation and decided to incorporate some of the themes used for this one. i intended to make it based on kaneki but oh look, it turned out DARK AGAIN I NEEDA STOP
